Research On Wechat Public Account Service Of Guangxi Public Undergraduate University Library

Wechat official accounts rely on huge user groups,has been widely used by the government,enterprises and public institutions of various types of organizations.At present,there are relatively few researches on wechat official accounts of university libraries in Guangxi.This paper hopes to take this as a starting point to find out the problems existing in the service and put forward corresponding solutions,so as to provide some suggestions for the library’s wechat official account service.This paper investigates and studies the service conditions of the wechat public account of 26 public undergraduate university libraries in Guangxi.Through the methods of network survey and interview survey,this paper investigates and analyzes the basic information,borrowing service,space service,consultation service and Twitter service of the wechat public account of the university library,and draws several conclusions and suggestions.First of all,there is almost no dedicated operation team and management mechanism for the wechat public accounts of libraries of public undergraduate universities in Guangxi.Therefore,in order to improve the service quality,the most basic task is to build a professional and well-staffed team.The team is composed of teachers and students,with teachers as the leader and students as the specific implementers.Besides,a management system should be developed to ensure the effective operation of the public account.Secondly,the construction of automatic reply function should be strengthened in terms of consulting services,so as to reduce labor costs and provide consulting services to users 24 hours a day.In addition,the feedback channels for users’ opinions should be improved,instead of just providing chat dialog messages,the processing process should be more standardized and transparent,and the processing results should have a better public way.Finally,there is a problem of homogenization in the construction of wechat official accounts of university libraries in Guangxi.They do not integrate the cultural characteristics of Guangxi ethnic minorities or the characteristics of universities into the construction of wechat official accounts.Neither columns nor tweets contain anything distinctive.In addition,both the quantity and quality of tweets need to be further improved,as well as the interactivity of tweets.
