| As an interdisciplinary field in which digital technology and the humanities are deeply integrated,digital humanities is a practice that explores the convergence of many fields,and the development of digital humanities has provided the archival industry with a new theoretical basis and research paradigm.Digital humanities research in the field of archives has formed a certain development system abroad,with the United States,the United Kingdom and other European and American countries leading the world in digital humanities research in the field of archives.In recent years,digital humanities research in archives in China has been gaining momentum,but research on the elements of archival digital humanities practice project construction still needs to be expanded and improved.Digital humanities projects are the direct manifestation of digital humanities practice.Based on the summary and study of archival digital humanities practice project construction results,this paper clarifies the relevant elements of archival digital humanities practice project construction.“The text of the Digital Humanities Practice Project” is the subject of this study.This paper is divided into four parts: in the first part,the literature in the field of digital humanities in China and abroad has been thoroughly researched to sort out the research and visualise the findings using VOSviewer software in order to better understand and grasp the hotspots and themes in the field of digital humanities.The second part uses literature researched to define in detail concepts such as projects and project processes,digital humanities and archival digital humanities,and the relationship between archival digital humanities and projects.The third part uses the web survey method and literature researched method to collect the contents of 21 selected Chinese and foreign archival digital humanities practice projects and collate them into case texts.Word frequency analysis was conducted using ROSTCM6 software to construct coding categories,and six elements of archival digital humanities practice project construction were identified:project construction goals,project infrastructure,project cooperation content,digital humanities technology,project platform construction,and project to guarantee system.Nivivo12 software was used to analyse the content of the case text,discussing the specific contents of the twenty-one sub-elements contained in the six elements of archival digital humanities practice project construction respectively,and citing corresponding cases of demonstration.The fourth part put forward six suggestions for the construction of digital humanities practice projects in archives in China: make good project planning to meet users’ needs;coordinate regional development to promote interdisciplinary exchanges;integrate archival resources to help knowledge production;set up a reasonable platform to facilitate users’ access;improve policies and regulations to guarantee financial support;and refine the project process to promote sustainable development. |
