Discourse Strategies Of Host Based On Context Theory

Word,the meaning of which is multiple,is indispensable during the process of host’s vocal performing.It must be considered for hosts to master the way of using appropriate strategies to convey the true meaning in certain circumstance.The author analyzes several typical cases of programs based on the author’s graduation work New appearance of old street.The paper based on the theory of Pragmatics 、 Broadcasting Science 、 Communication explores the broadcast performer’s strategies by the research of interdisciplinary、cases analysis and literature.The paper is divided into six parts.The first part explains the background、aim、content 、 method of the research and current status、innovation、introduction of the work New appearance of old street.The second part leads the both theory of language context and its influence.The third part analyzes the language context of New appearance of old street with modern media information from three aspects of culture context、situation context、media context.The elaborations of the fourth、the fifth、the sixth is based on the contexts of culture、situation and media to summary language strategies of hosts and conclude 13 strategies right for different situation like "realizing value guidance with oriented discourse" and "concreting social culture with material carrier".The author wants to provide examples for reference to future research through the author’s research above.
