| Satellite news refers to the news which takes the influence of satellite remote sensing itself and the value-added products of technology as the new media form.The image presented by satellite news is not only the true restoration of the news content itself,but also the visual reconstruction of national politics,economy and social culture.Visual rhetoric has great theoretical and practical significance in promoting the visual direction of news content and national image building.In this paper,satellite news published by Xinhua News Agency in various news forms,such as pictures and videos,is selected as the research text,and the whole picture of satellite news,a new"bird ’s-eye view" news pattern,is observed from the theoretical perspective of visual rhetoric,focusing on the basic strategies of satellite news to shape news content and the meaning behind it in the current visual rhetoric context.And what is the value and significance of such visual rhetoric practice to the shaping of news,national image and cultural transmission in the current era.In the introduction,this paper mainly introduces the main content of this study and the basic definition of the theoretical concept;The second chapter analyzes the visual rhetoric strategies of satellite news through rhetorical context,rhetorical object and rhetorical framework.The third chapter,based on the rhetorical strategy analysis of satellite news,restores the significance,value and main visual features brought by satellite news visual rhetoric.The fourth chapter focuses on exploring the revelation and reflection brought by the visual rhetoric of satellite news to the development ofjournalism.This study believes that the starting situation of satellite news visual rhetoric is mainly based on the intertextual context of news in the age of technology and images,the situational context of appealing to geographical discourse logic,and the cultural context needs involving the propaganda of Chinese social conditions and the communication of Chinese social cultural emotions.In such visual rhetoric context,satellite news mainly combines satellite scene symbols such as nature and humanity in image images and visual symbols of language,text and special effects as rhetorical objects to form the basic framework of satellite news visual rhetoric.Through the rhetoric methods of spatio-temporal rhetoric,lens rhetoric and image construction,it realizes the organic integration of narrative rhetoric and ideographic rhetoric means of satellite news,so as to promote satellite news to be recognized,felt,recognized and shared with more powerful visual persuasive effect and visual emotional impact.It achieves the rhetorical purpose of improving the persuasive and identification effectiveness in the communication of international events,the communication of social conditions and state affairs,and the presentation of three aspects in the Great America and China.Then,based on the analysis of visual rhetoric strategies of satellite news,it summarizes the main visual characteristics of satellite news,such as expanding time and space,innovating narrative and constructing wonders.At the same time,according to the visual rhetoric practice of satellite news,the enlightenment brought by visual rhetoric to the current development of journalism is analyzed from the perspectives of news concept,news artistry and news content,in order to better promote the development and practice of visual news.In addition,the author also reflects on the visual rhetoric of satellite news to a certain extent,and thinks that satellite news should be vigilant about the homogeneity of content and rhetoric in the future.In the context of the complicated world environment,there are both challenges and opportunities for China ’s media industry.The strategy of satellite news visual rhetoric and the construction of visual landscape,telling Chinese stories well externally and conveying social emotions internally have given the contemporary media some inspirations and thoughts.In terms of content production of all-media news,it has become the goal of current media content production to conform to the development trend of The Times,visually present China ’s measures in politics,economy,environment and social culture,and provide news products that can let the audience understand The Times.In the practice process of visual rhetoric of news,visual images are established on the basis of the substantial meaning of news transmission,so as to stabilize the expression and communication of visual news,and then through visual rhetoric strategies,benign softening of important news content with solemn and serious significance,so as to catch the audience’s eye and build a media bridge for information and emotion transmission.In addition,the visual rhetoric strategy of satellite news at the present stage needs to further reflect on its potential satellite content homogenization,rhetoric content homogenization and other problems.The author believes that the visual rhetoric of satellite news tends to the shaping direction of news content.Only by anchoring the direction of content,optimizing the path of visual rhetoric,and reflecting on the potential problems in the practice of visual rhetoric,can we optimize and integrate various media contents such as language,image and data.Only by constructing the content ecology and visual landscape of satellite news and other all-media news with audio-visual combination and graphic combination,can the content and emotion conveyed by news be perceived by both domestic and foreign audiences,so as to continuously improve the development level of media content and the image charm of
