With the rapid development of the IT industry, software development projects are an important business for IT enterprises, and the success rate of their projects is crucial to the development of IT enterprises. When scholars are studying how to make a project successful, they have found that effective project management can promote project success. Therefore, research in the field of project management has attracted scholars’ attention. However,as various industries gradually incorporate the concept of sustainable development, many scholars have found that the management methods of projects also need to be changed. That is,sustainable development should be considered in the process of project management, and sustainable management should be implemented for projects.Due to the greater difficulty of project sustainability management compared to general project management, this poses a higher challenge to project managers.Whether project managers can do a good job in project sustainability management affects the success of projects. This thesis studies the factors that affect project sustainability management performance and the specific impact of these factors on sustainability management performance by reviewing relevant literature on project sustainability management.Based on the analysis of existing literature, this thesis believes that the organizational environment and the degree of stakeholder cooperation in software development projects are the main factors that affect sustainability management performance. The organizational environment is divided into three dimensions: project team member communication, project manager management ability, and senior management support.Stakeholder cooperation mainly considers the cooperation between customers and project teams; On this basis, the role of agile usage effectiveness in project sustainability management is further analyzed. Therefore, this thesis first reviews the literature and establishes a research framework based on stakeholder theory, organizational performance theory, and organizational information processing theory. The three dimensions of the organizational environment and the degree of stakeholder cooperation are used as independent variables, agile use effectiveness is used as a moderator variable, and sustainable management performance is used as a dependent variable to construct hypothetical relationships;Secondly, this thesis draws on the mature scale of relevant research to design the questionnaire, issue the questionnaire and collect the questionnaire data; Finally, using SPSS and AMOS data analysis tools, this thesis conducted a statistical analysis of 333 valid questionnaires obtained, and verified research hypotheses. The statistical analysis methods used include descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity analysis, structural equation model analysis, and regulatory effect testing. The research conclusion is that organizational environment and degree of stakeholder cooperation have significant positive impacts on sustainability management performance; The effectiveness of agile use has a moderating effect on the relationship between organizational environment and sustainable management performance,as well as the degree of stakeholder cooperation and sustainable management performance.Based on stakeholder theory, organizational performance theory, and organizational information processing theory, this thesis constructs a research framework for sustainable management performance.Through the constructed research framework,it discovers the impact of different factors on sustainable management performance in the context of IT software development work, and confirms the regulatory effect of agile use effectiveness, enriching the research on these three theories and sustainable management performance; It helps project managers better manage projects and provides more ideas for IT enterprises to improve the sustainability management performance of projects.
