High quality development is the primary task of comprehensively building a modern socialist country.High quality public cultural services are an important guarantee to meet the growing spiritual and cultural needs of the people,and an important way to achieve common spiritual prosperity.Exhibition service is a fundamental and important business activity of libraries,an important way for libraries to fulfill their functions of user service,knowledge dissemination,and social education,and also a growth point and breakthrough point for libraries to promote the construction of high-quality public cultural services in the new era.At present,China’s library exhibition services are mostly presented in the extensive form of document display,making it difficult for staff to make reasonable judgments about the effectiveness of exhibition work.In the new stage of development,libraries need to further implement the new development concept,promote the quality of library exhibition services,enable readers to enjoy fuller and richer exhibition services,better meet the diverse,multi-level,and multifaceted spiritual and cultural needs of the people,and achieve high-quality development of the library industry.In order to improve the service quality and cultural connotation of library exhibitions in China,and enable exhibition services to truly play the role of knowledge and emotional communication,this study aims to provide a feasible and operational evaluation standard for the effectiveness of exhibition work in China’s library exhibitions by constructing a library exhibition quality evaluation index system,with a view to promoting the further improvement of library exhibition work in China.Firstly,explore the construction of library exhibition quality evaluation indicators.Based on the concept of LibQUAL+TM user perception,obtain indicator weight data through reader surveys,design a library exhibition quality evaluation index that includes 5 first level indicators and 15 second level indicators,set corresponding weights through analytic hierarchy process,and conduct effectiveness testing.Secondly,an empirical study was conducted with Shenyang Municipal Library as the object of investigation.Based on the construction of indicators,the survey and evaluation were conducted,and a score of 71.7 points was obtained for the exhibition service quality of Shenyang Municipal Public Library.The overall performance was average,but the specific performance in exhibition publicity,online exhibition,and other aspects was poor.In response to these shortcomings,the paper focused on innovating exhibition policy concepts,attaching importance to publicity work Mining individual advantages puts forward suggestions for improving the exhibition quality of Shenyang Library from three aspects.
