A Comparative Study On The Evaluation Of The Space Reengineering In Chinese And American College Libraries

The rapid development of digital technology and services has caused great changes in libraries.The expansion and transformation of library functions is an inevitable trend in the development of contemporary libraries.The evolution of space will inevitably bring about the benefit evaluation of space value.The value of library space directly determines the evaluation of its service value in the minds of users.It is related to the image and status of the library in the minds of users.The value of space has been elevated to the strategic height of the library’s survival and development.When the space value becomes the core value of the library,the space evaluation of the library has more practical significance.In order to optimize the space value and meet the changing space needs of users,the library needs to further explore the library through scientific space evaluation,planning and transformation.value as place.This paper takes the evaluation of university library space reengineering as the research object.By comparing the university libraries of China and the United States,it discusses the shortcomings of the space reengineering evaluation of Chinese university libraries compared with American university libraries under the background of public cultural system construction.Suggestions are provided for the space reconstruction evaluation of Chinese university libraries,including evaluation concepts,evaluation methods and evaluation systems,so as to provide reference for the space reconstruction of university libraries.First,explain the theory of user-related theories and sustainable development theory.Secondly,starting from the perspective of comparative research,the evaluation of the Chinese-American university library space is investigated.Then,compare the dimensions from the dimensions,evaluation methods,evaluation systems,evaluation steps,etc.,and summarize the experience and shortcomings in the Chinese and American university library space.Finally,suggestions are provided for the evaluation of the value evaluation of the space reconstruction of libraries in my country.In terms of library space reconstruction value assessment,the following suggestions are put forward: First,to establish a scientific assessment concept to ensure that the evaluation activities are reasonable.Secondly,it is necessary to clarify the type of space re-creation evaluation,evaluation goals,and evaluation methods to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of the evaluation.Third,it is necessary to improve the evaluation index system to improve the standardization of the evaluation process.Fourth,standardized evaluation steps need to be established to follow the basic process of library space re-evaluation.Finally,for the assessment conclusions of space reconstruction,it is necessary to guide the space reconstruction of the library with conclusions to increase the sustainability of the evaluation.
