| The city and the media are natural partners.The image expression forms of different media present different complex spatial landscapes of the city,construct the relationship between the city and people,and produce the image of the city based on image perception.In 2018,"Tiktok City" has become popular so far.Tiktok’s platform has become a prominent force in building city image by virtue of prominent embodied media practice,algorithm logic push,flow pool thinking,etc.The previously digested urban location has been rediscovered,and the location image has been re-endowed.The city is in the media space constructed by the Tiktok platform.The city is displayed by the new media expression form of short videos,the urban meaning is displayed by the spatial relationship,and the urban image is constructed in the space production.Although Tiktok provides a new platform for the city to be re-recognized and a new way for people to perceive the city,we should also be alert to whether the power relationship in space reacts to the construction and production of the city image in urban communication.Based on the theories of "media space" and "city image",this research takes content analysis and text analysis as the main research methods and takes short videos within six topics of the Tiktok platform about Chengdu as the research object.Through sampling and coding the research object,this research analyzes the content and text characteristics of image text,and according to the analysis of "material space",and "discourse space" The three dimensions of "communication space" deconstruct the construction process of urban image.Therefore,the main framework of this study is divided into three parts.The first part explains the relationship between Tiktok media space and city image,the second part analyzes the content and text characteristics of "Chengdu" short videos,and the third part explores the construction process of city image from the perspective of "image representation","image manufacturing",and "image reconstruction",The fourth part is based on the above research to understand the understanding and thinking of urban image construction under the influence of spatial power relations.The research shows that Tiktok short video is different from the traditional media in shaping the city image,forming a unique visual cultural phenomenon,rebuilding the relationship between the city and people,and broadening the connotation of the city image.Tik Tok Daren and other production subjects use a variety of audio-visual expression techniques to represent the readability landscape of roads,borders,regions,nodes,and landmarks in the city,and make a second structural planning of discourse space for the readability landscape of physical space by strengthening individual images and manufacturing media consumption sites.Then,based on the interaction of Tiktok platform operation logic production communication space,through human-computer,interpersonal Empower the place image and construct the city image in the interaction between humans and land.Behind the construction and production is the product of the Tiktok media space power struggle.Among them,the spatial separation with attribute division recommended by the algorithm,the spatial alienation of capital-dominated commercialization,and the spatial discipline of excessive practice of power struggle deserve reflection. |
