| Under the new era background of building a powerful sports country and promoting the development of fitness for the whole nation,it is of great practical significance to explore the shaping of social media image of sports stars to spread the sports time spirit,develop our sports industry,promote the inheritance of sports culture and the development of the whole sports enterprise.Gu Ailing has been in the global spotlight since she announced her Chinese citizenship on social media.With her excellent athletic performance,high appearance level and unique personal charm,Gu has gradually become a hot topic reported by the media.Her media image affects the public’s cognition of the image of traditional sports athletes in the new era.At the same time,The unique sports values of the new era and the Olympic sports spirit of Gu Ailing reflect great social value.Therefore,the research on Gu Ailing’s image shaping through social media has certain significance of The Times.This study will answer the following three questions:First,why can Gu Ailing become a new woman of The Times that attracts worldwide attention?Second,how did the official Weibo account of People’s Daily report on the Gu Ailing Winter Olympics?Third,what kind of image does the official Weibo account of People’s Daily portray Gu Ailing?Fourthly,what contemporary value does Gu Ailing’s media image reflect?Based on this,this paper takes People’s Daily’s official microblog report on Gu Ailing and Weibo user comments as the research content,uses literature method,content analysis method,text analysis method and mathematical statistics method,draws on media research theory and news framework theory to comprehensively analyze Gu Ailing’s media image,and puts forward suggestions for further improvement of Gu Ailing’s media image on social media in the future.Through the study of Gu Ailing’s image,the following conclusions are drawn: 1)Social media reports have a significant positive impact on Gu Ailing’s media image building.2)Gu Ailing’s media image benefits from her personal charm and sports wisdom.3)Gu Ailing’s media image shows the new style of female athletes in the new era.Based on the above conclusions,the following enlightenments are proposed: 1)The image building of athletes on social media should be multi-topic,clear stance and focus on innovation.Dialectically,the public opinion should be carefully guided and always adhere to the social responsibility and responsibility of the media.2)Social media should strengthen humanistic care and give full play to its social functions when reporting athletes.3)Expand the brand new perspective of social media shaping of athlete image. |
