| When technology entered the journalism as an embedded force,the underlying logic of news production changed,which also promoted scholars to shift the focus of research from the form,content and effect of media to technology itself,and rethink the relationship between technology and journalism,the relationship between people and technology,and the relationship between people and society.In recent years,science and technology research(STS)has begun to have dialogue and exchange with journalism research,providing new research paths for journalism researchers,focusing on technology itself,viewing the relationship between media technology and society from a constructivist perspective,and analyzing technology and its social impact,This paper selects papers published in the core journals of Journalism and communication in the 13 years from 2010 to 2022 as the research object,aiming to analyze the STS research of Chinese journalism from the macro and micro levels.Macroscopically,the motivation of STS research in Chinese journalism is analyzed in terms of the number of publications,the source of the literature,the cooperation of core researchers and researchers,the organization of the author and keywords;At the micro level,it analyzes the co-occurrence of keywords and the evolution of research topics in combination with Cite Space,and explores the change of thinking of scholars in journalism STS research and what paradigm changes STS brings to journalism research.The study found that the change of social and historical conditions has changed the object and vision of journalism research,and promoted the theoretical innovation of journalism research,which provides conditions for the STS research of journalism in China;The advanced theoretical achievements of Foreign Journalism STS research provide reference for the STS research of Chinese journalism;In China,Nanjing University,Shenzhen University,Renmin University of China,Fudan University and other established universities with strong comprehensive strength constitute the first tier of journalism STS research;Young and middle-aged scholars such as Chang Jiang,Wang chenyao,Dai Yuchen,Bai Hongyi,Jiang Hong and Yi Qianliang have become the backbone of journalism STS;In addition,the promotion of national power is also the main reason for the research.In the research of core topics,the research based on actor network theory(ANT)focuses on news innovation and media integration,and the research focuses on the core concepts of "non-human actors","translation" and "network".In the research of news innovation,it focuses on the research of algorithm,platform and data.It is a kind of research method that opens the "black box",pays attention to the complex relationship network behind technology,and transfers the previous research on the impact of technology to technology itself with a "Disenchantment" research,breaking the color of "mystery" of technology;For the research of media convergence,from an endogenous perspective,we pay attention to the game of multiple actors and the competition for the position of forced access points;Taking sociology of scientific knowledge(SSK)as the theoretical technology,the research focuses on the traditional journalism theory,brings the social and historical conditions into the dimension of analysis,and pays attention to the interaction between natural factors and social factors;The research of technology based social construction theory(SCOT)mainly focuses on the introduction of theory.Through combing the existing literature,it is found that the STS research of Chinese journalism is of great significance for the innovation of Chinese journalism theoretical research,and has made innovative development for the existing research paradigm,jumping out of the research paradigm with content and text as the core,and bringing technology into the researchers’ field of vision;Break the linear thinking mode of traditional journalism research;Take networking and relationship as the new path;Pay more attention to and understand the current news ecosystem,and think about the relationship between various actors;The representational research,which goes out of the binary opposition between subject and object,focuses on the practice in the social process.In the future development,we need to strengthen the awareness of problems,complete the accumulation of knowledge and theoretical construction;Take care of the real situation and improve the internal systematicness of journalism research;Return to the humanistic spirit and take care of the humanistic orientation of journalism research;Based on Chinese practice,we should deepen the localization development of journalism theory. |
