The generation of requirements is the starting point of a software project.Only when there are requirements can we determine the positioning and specific content of the project.Therefore,requirements management has become an important part of software project management.A good requirement management method can not only promote the implementation of the project as expected,but also improve the quality of the project.Poor requirement management procedures or lack of requirement management are often one of the main reasons for the failure of the project.Based on the background of software project requirement management of company B,an Internet software company,this paper makes an in-depth analysis on the problems of requirement management in the process of software development through literature research,questionnaire survey and data analysis.Under the guidance of software project management,needs engineering and requirements management theory,combined with the whole process of B company’s current requirements management,the requirements management is divided into the following six parts: requirements acquisition,requirements analysis,requirements confirmation,requirements follow-up,requirements change and requirements feedback.The advantage of this method is that it extends the requirement management to the whole life cycle of software project.The analysis and research of B company’s requirement management problems and the improvement ideas are carried out on the basis of these six parts.Through the analysis and research on the requirement management process of software project in B company,we find that there are some problems in the requirement acquisition stage,such as lack of unified specification,requirement analysis is not detailed,requirement confirmation mechanism is not perfect,requirement follow-up process is not standardized,requirement changes frequently,and requirement feedback mechanism is not clear.In view of the current problems,find out the countermeasures to solve the problems,such as broadening the channels of demand acquisition,optimizing the methods of demand acquisition,refining the steps of demand analysis,proposing standardized demand follow-up process,proposing the executable process of demand change management,standardizing and unifying the process of demand feedback,etc.Finally,the proposed optimization scheme is applied to the actual case,and the results show that the effect of the improvement scheme achieves the expected goal.This paper aims to analyze and diagnose the existing requirements management problems of company B,and then put forward corresponding improvement measures for the problems found,so as to improve the efficiency of software development engineering of B company,promote the timely delivery of projects,and ensure the quality of requirements delivery.At the same time,we also hope to provide suggestions for other related software projects in the industry.
