Research On The Construction Of Readers’ Archives Resource Library In University Libraries Under The Background Of Informatization

The development of information technology has had a profound impact on the development of university libraries,and has effectively improved the service quality of university libraries.The construction of reader user archives is an important work of university libraries in the information age.Based on the theories of user demand theory and document life cycle theory,this paper conducts a questionnaire survey on 200 staff members in 75 universities in Shandong Province,and interviews 50 university library staff members.Combined with the experience of field research in some universities,it is found that the current university library has achieved certain results in the construction of reader user archives resource database.The reader user resource database has already had basic functions and can meet the basic work needs of the library,but there are also some problems.It is mainly manifested in the following five aspects:the construction of reader user archives resource library is lagging behind,the classification of library reader user archives is not scientific enough,the utilization efficiency of library reader archives resources is low,the management means of library reader archives resources is single,and the construction of resource library lacks attention to user needs.The reasons for the above problems are as follows:first,insufficient attention is paid to the archives management of library readers;second,there is a lack of reasonable classification system of readers’archives;third,there is a lack of institutional norms for the utilization of readers’archives;fourth,the information construction of readers’ archives resources is slow;fifth,the construction of comprehensive quality and ability talents is weak.In view of the above problems and the causes of the problems,respectively,from the establishment of information management thinking,the implementation of peopleoriented concept;based on the existing archives management standards,build a multiclassification system;strengthen the construction of archives resource database system and improve the efficiency of resource utilization;increase the development of archives resource database and optimize resource management functions;strengthen the construction of information talent team,and actively organize training in five aspects to put forward countermeasures and suggestions.
