According to the data released by China Disabled Persons’ Federation,as early as the end of 2010,the number of visually disabled people in China has reached 12.63 million,accounting for about 15.45% of the total number of disabled people,and the number of visually disabled people is still growing.Because blind people lose their visual perception ability,it is difficult to obtain all kinds of information in the environment,and they face great difficulties in daily life.Although the existing braille printing devices provide some help for the blind people’s life,there are many problems in the actual use,such as high price,single function and poor practicability.Based on this,this project develops a device that can use numerical control dispensing technology to glue braille dot matrix onto self-adhesive post-it notes.Braille post-it notes also have the advantages of waterproof and wear-resistant,which can be applied in the environment with heavy water vapor such as toilet and shower room.The work of this paper is as follows:(1)In view of the practical problems such as difficult to control the dispensing amount,leakage and low dispensing accuracy in the time-pressure dispensing process,this paper proposes a design scheme of "PC + motion control card" and gantry type three-axis motion mechanism.At the same time,the z-axis motion and the parameters(dispensing height,dispensing time,dispensing pressure)affecting the consistency and size of the dispensing point were analyzed experimentally,and the experimental results verified the feasibility of the design scheme.(2)In order to improve the accuracy of current Chinese-blind translation software and output DXF graphics files,this paper proposes four architectures of Chinese word segmentation,Chinese to Pinyin,Pinyin to Braille ASCII code,and OUTPUT DXF graphics.A variety of word segmentation and conjunctions rule models are established to realize "conjunctions" and "splits" according to part-of-speech tagging.Using The Standford Chinese word segmentation tool and Pinyin4 j Chinese-Spelling conversion tool,the Unicode encoding conversion is realized by using the word library comparison method,and the final output braille.The experimental results show that the proposed part-of-speech tagging conjunctions rule model can significantly improve the accuracy of Chinese blind translation and is more consistent with the tactile reading characteristics of the blind.(3)Test the function of each module of the Braille post-it note printing device,and successfully produce post-it notes with braille labels such as "cold medicine" and "Band-Aid".The accuracy of Braille translation is above 95%,and the accuracy of braille bump forming is above 96%,which verifies the rationality of the design.
