The Study About Social Support In Online Q&A Platform

Depression,as a high incidence of mental illness,seriously endangers people’s physical and mental health and affects their normal life.The public’s misreading of depression has discriminated against depressed patients,and they feel shame because of their illness.In the era of new media,people are more inclined to seek relevant information about depression through online search.Online question and answer platforms have become one of the channels for patients to answer questions and seek help due to their social attributes.In the context of the comprehensive promotion of the Healthy China action,people’s health is related to national development.The main body experience and support-seeking situation of depression patients can help to promote the construction of the social support system and improve the level of social support for patients.This study in zhihu platform "depression" related topics under the essence of the post quiz record as the research object,through text mining and patient user interviews,with social support for theoretical support,trying to explore the user in zhihu quiz platform for social support,to explore how to create a good social environment for patients with depression.According to the presentation of depression on Zhihu,the study found that the questions have some guidance to attract patients to answer,mostly involving various issues of depression,and the interaction of the depression topic is concentrated on the power elite,depression patients and related groups,and the pain,who desire to have a normal social relationship and expect realistic understanding.By analyzing the social support in the topic of "depression on Zhihu",the research believes that the network social support of Zhihu is mainly reflected in information support and emotional support.First,the interaction between users can scientifically popularize information about depression diseases and show the real side of depression patients.Many empirical articles provide guidance for how to deal with depression in real life.Second,Zhihu acts as a "spiritual tree hole",in which patients can make self-disclosure and emotional records.The sense of belonging and identity gained in the resonance makes the patient group become a "one family".Zhihu complements traditional social support,with individuals scattered across the network converge to provide patients with influence beyond reality,and multiple "power nodes" during interactive discussions of depression topics.Finally,the study found that the online social support of Zhihu reflects the weak medical security in the real society,the insufficient media "exploration" of depression,the lack of an inclusive public opinion environment for depression,the insufficient companionship and support for family members,and the state of patients being closed and alone.Of course,the network social support is not perfect,but also has its limitations.For example,Zhihu network social support can not exist for a long time,its coverage group is limited,and the depth of providing support is insufficient.Therefore,in terms of social support for people with depression,we should not only develop online social support,but also improve the real social support,two-pronged,multi-party combination,to provide more well-being for people with depression.
