| Compared with traditional optical fibers, photonic crystal fibers(PCFs)have many high-quality characteristics, which make them play a non-negligible role in the fields of optical fiber communication, optical fiber sensing, and optical fiber devices.Surface Plasmon Resonance(SPR)sensors based on photonic crystal fibers have gradually become one of the mainstream research directions in the sensing field, especially in the fields of biology, chemistry, and liquid detection. This paper mainly studies the two characteristics of low refractive index sensing range and high sensitivity sensing of photonic crystal fiber SPR sensors. Two different photonic crystal fiber sensing models are designed respectively, and the sensor performance is studied by finite element method. The main research contents of the paper are:(1)A V-type PCF-SPR sensor for low refractive index detection is proposed. The research shows that the maximum wavelength sensitivity of the sensor is 14500nm/RIU,the maximum wavelength resolution is 6.90×10-6RIU,and the maximum amplitude sensitivity is-2608.334RIU-1.The sensor can realize low refractive index detection, and has a wide refractive index detection range, which can not be ignored in the future biological detection and other fields.(2)An eccentric PCF-SPR sensor with high sensitivity is proposed. The research shows that the maximum wavelength sensitivity of the sensor is 40000nm/RIU,the maximum wavelength resolution is 2.50×10-6RIU,and the maximum amplitude sensitivity is-2052.467RIU-1.The sensor can achieve high-sensitivity detection, and compared with other high-sensitivity sensors,it has a wider measurement range, and it will play a vital role in biological detection and other fields in the future. |
