With the continuous development of my country’s aerospace optical remote sensing field,along with the progress of integrated circuit technology and manufacturing process,the research of CMOS image sensor has gradually become a hot spot.Because CMOS image sensors have the advantages of strong radiation resistance,large dynamic range,simple driving,high integration,low power consumption,low cost,and small size,the application of CMOS image sensors tends to be widespread,especially in the application of aerospace products.More stringent requirements are put forward for its imaging performance parameters.At present,the imaging performance test technology of CMOS image sensor is also developing continuously,but most of them follow the test theory of the EMVA1288 standard.Therefore,extending the test theory of the EMVA1288 standard and combining it with other theories to propose a more reasonable imaging performance test theory is an important way to ensure the imaging performance parameters of CMOS image sensors in aerospace products.This topic takes the application of CMOS image sensor in the field of aerospace optical remote sensing as the research background,takes the scientific HR400 CMOS image sensor as the research object,and carries out the research on the imaging performance testing technology of CMOS image sensor,mainly on the radiation performance indicators such as signal-to-noise ratio and light response non-uniformity.The main research work is as follows:(1)The research status of CMOS image sensor imaging performance testing technology at home and abroad is studied,and the unequal precision measurement theory is introduced into the imaging performance testing process.The potential test error of the EMVA1288 standard test theory is properly resolved,and the imaging performance test accuracy is improved to a certain extent.(2)The imaging performance test system of CMOS image sensor is designed.The overall structure of the imaging performance test system of CMOS image sensor is proposed,and the instruments and equipment of each part of the imaging performance test system are selected.(3)The method of combining the test theory of EMVA1288 standard with the measurement theory of unequal precision is proposed.The principle of the test theory of the EMVA1288 standard is analyzed,and an extended test method based on the EMVA1288 standard is proposed on this basis.Then the unequal precision measurement theory is introduced,combined with the extended test theory of the EMVA1288 standard,to test the imaging performance parameters of the CMOS image sensor.At the same time,a new parameter,the performance test accuracy evaluation parameter,is defined to evaluate the test method based on EMVA1288 test theory and the test method combining the two theories.(4)The imaging performance test experiment of CMOS image sensor was carried out.In order to verify the effectiveness of the above imaging performance test methods,and to compare the test accuracy of the test method based on the EMVA1288 standard and the test method based on the combination of the EMVA1288 standard and the unequal precision measurement theory,the HR400 CMOS image sensor was used as the research goal to complete the imaging performance test experiment in the laboratory.In the low-gain channel and the high-gain channel,16 tests were carried out on the signal-to-noise ratio corresponding to the 50% saturated signal and the non-uniformity of the optical response,and the test results were used to compare the test accuracy of the two performance test methods.At the same time,using the defined performance test accuracy evaluation parameters,taking the signal-to-noise ratio and light response nonuniformity as the objects,it is confirmed that the test method combining the two test theories can improve the test accuracy to a certain extent.The experimental results are within the fluctuation range of the index value,which proves the effectiveness of the newly proposed test method.To sum up,the imaging performance test method of CMOS image sensor in the field of aerospace optical remote sensing proposed in this paper improves the performance test accuracy and verifies its rationality through the imaging performance test experiment of the research object.At the same time,it provides a theoretical basis for the test and verification of key performance parameters of HR400 CMOS image sensor,and also provides an effective test method for the performance test of other image sensors,which has certain reference significance.
