In the context of globalization and Internet+,people’s access to non-native language information has greatly increased. In 2006,NSTL launched the construction of an international scientific citation database, which contains the citation data of about 4,000 excellent foreign science and technology journals.By 2016,the database contains foreign language journal data. There are more than 14 million items, and it is growing at an annual rate of 30 million items. With the increasing demand for cross-language reading, readers are increasingly demanding the depth and efficiency of cross-language reading. From a domestic perspective, more and more ancient books and documents in ethnic minority languages have been developed, and some ethnic minority areas have also opened periodicals in ethnic minority languages.Yunnan,Guizhou,Sichuan and other provincial libraries and college libraries also have a large collection of ancient books and documents in minority languages for readers to read, and provide scientific research workers with use and research. However, whether Chinese readers read across foreign languages or across ethnic minority languages, its essence is the process of non-native reading. The purpose of reading is to perceive and understand semantics through language symbols, and their reading needs are to obtain support for cross-language reading.Process information service.University libraries are responsible for the dual tasks of teaching and scientific research services. Both scientific researchers and teachers and students have a huge demand for cross-language reading, and provide readers on the basis of improving the construction of multilingual resources in university libraries. For cross-language reading services, the primary problem is to obtain the cross-language reading demand structure of college readers.Only by clarifying the structure of readers’ demand and providing user-centric information service projects can we maximize the utilization of resources and the effectiveness of services. This paper aims to analyze the cross-language augmented reading user demand structure of Chinese readers in university libraries.that is,the demand structure of Chinese readers in the process of reading non-native language documents other than Chinese. It mainly adopts methods such as questionnaire method and mathematical statistics method. The subject of the questionnaire survey is university library users. The questionnaire is based on the Grolus service theory model and domestic related research.According to the previous related literature, the cross-language augmented reading user needs of university libraries are divided into core services.,convenient service,Interface design, support service 4 dimensions totaling31 items,in order to design Kano questionnaire, use SPSS26.0 statistical software to perform statistical description, reliability analysis and validity analysis of the cross-language reading needs of university library users, use kano model theory to divide 31 demand items into attributes, and analyze the priority satisfaction order of demand items in each dimension according to the B-W coefficient and attributes Finally, determine the overall priority of the library users’ cross-language enhanced reading demand project, analyze the reader’s various demand differences due to reader types, relevant reading experience and other factors, and on these basis, provide strategies for the construction of cross-language enhanced reading service facilities for university libraries.Through the research on the demand structure of cross-language augmented reading in university library,it is found that university library readers have strong demand for cross-language reading, their functional requirements are hierarchical, and the cross-language reading needs of different types of readers are obviously different. In the process of providing cross-language augmented reading services, university libraries should accurately locate user types, take user needs as the guide, continuously track users’ cross-language augmented reading needs, and formulate corresponding cross-language augmented reading service modes in combination with the characteristics of non-Chinese literature types in the collection.Based on the Grolus service theory model,at the level of users’ core needs,we should pay attention to the level of readers’ cross-language reading needs, comprehensively and reasonably allocate resources, create query translation processing module, and realize cross-language information retrieval; At the level of user convenience needs, pay attention to standardizing the rules for setting reading traces on the platform, reconcile the contradiction between privacy protection and resource utilization, absorb the assistance of librarians with multilingual discipline background, develop non-Chinese literature resources in the library, build a humanized reading space, promote reading comfort and pleasure, improve mobile cross-language reading services, and increase copyright technology protection; At the level of user interface requirements, adhere to the core principles of human-computer interaction interface design, and learn from mature and stable functional zoning settings to ensure clear logic and beautiful dynamic and static effects of reading interface; At the level of user support needs, enrich literature and multimedia resources, develop multi-sensory immersive cross-language reading, build a multi-language academic community, promote cross-language reading interaction, make good use of big data, artificial intelligence and other technologies, and provide personalized cross-language augmented reading services.
