| China’s mainstream media represented by the "Liberation Daily" carry ideological production and order norms,occupyied an absolute weight in the discourse weight of journalism during the War of Resistance Against Japan,especially the domestic news reports after the revision of the "Liberation Daily".It has exerted a strong combat effectiveness in the guidance of public opinion in the National Anti-Japanese War,the mass production movement,the rectification movement and other causes,it is extremely important for the current party newspapers and other mainstream media to play the role of public opinion guidance,and to improve the dissemination and influence of news reports.Therefore,this article takes the domestic news reports of the revised "Liberation Daily" as the research object,combines with the complex social ecology of the Yan’an period,analyzes and explores the discourse construction strategies and discourse tendencies of domestic news reports,and examines the ideological construction behind the news discourse.This study takes the domestic news reports within one year after the revision of the "Liberation Daily" as the analysis object,and uses a combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to analyze news discourse.Quantitative analysis is used to analyze the overall language characteristics and the distribution and frequency of text production and dissemination.Qualitative analysis is mainly used to discuss the ideology hidden in the text of news reports.Firstly,this study analyzes the content of the report from three aspects:the topic of the report,the layout of the layout,and the source of the news.Then,the Fairclough Critical Discourse Analysis Method is used as the theoretical support for the qualitative analysis.According to the three-dimensional frame analysis model he proposed,that is,from the text analysis,Discourse practice analysis and social practice analysis are based on three dimensions to analyze the samples selected in this study.The textual dimension,this article analyzes vocabulary and rhetoric,and classifies it into micro-text analysis in this research;the discourse practice dimension mainly analyzes the practice of intertextuality in news reports,from textual intertextuality and cultural intertextualization.Analyze from a perspective,the textual intertextuality explores from two aspects:citation analysis and pre-hypothesis.Cultural intertextualization involves the intertextuality of social phenomena,the intertextuality of ideas and beliefs,and the intertextuality of cultural images.It examines the ideology implicit in news reports and its influence on the use of text,and explains news producers how to influence the audience and spread ideology.The social practice dimension mainly analyzes the reasons for the discourse construction strategy of news reports from the perspective of the environment of the news discourse.Based on the quantitative content analysis,the research found that the domestic news reports of the "Liberation Daily" present the following characteristics:first,in terms of reporting topics,"border area production and life","war of resistance against Japan" and "rectification movement" are most concerned by news producers;second,in terms of layout,the first edition is mostly related to the "War of Resistance Against Japan",and the guidance of public opinion in the War of Resistance is more prominent."Production and life in the border areas" are mostly distributed in the second edition.Third,in terms of information sources,government agencies and party leaders are main sources of news after the revised edition,the journalist uses authoritative sources to enhance the authenticity and credibility of news content.At the level of qualitative analysis of the micro-text,the "Liberation Daily" uses the positive role of vocabulary to express the theme and the metaphorical style of carrying the position,which is inclined to the party’s policy and forward line;the discourse practice level is expressed as a series of intertextual discourses to strengthen news Production,the single news event rises to the field of national and social development.At the level of textual intertextuality,the objective and fair position is demonstrated through the use of direct quotations and neutral reporting verbs.However,in the above analysis elements,it is also found that there are implicit and ideological strategies to disseminate the party’s policies,such as choosing quotations that conform to one’s own point of view.Verbs that can guide people’s emotions.In terms of cultural intertextuality,news report discourse is closely related to the social context and dialectically connected with the social structure.It closely reflects the political,economic,and social life of the Yan’an period,with strong political and ideological colors;social practice level,this research has found that news reports are always produced under certain social and historical conditions and cannot escape the current historical,political,economic and other frameworks.The overall presentation of the party’s "mouthpiece" function,the penetration of political ideology,and a series of discourse strategies to conceptualize it.In view of the above analysis of the discourse construction process and strategies of Liberation Daily,it is found that news reports use various discourse strategies to construct social reality,which is internalized in the cognition of news producers and audiences,and exerts a strong guiding role in the special age.In addition,the discourse analysis of this study also has certain practical significance:on the one hand,it guides the party newspaper and other mainstream media to better perform the"mouthpiece" function,and improve the quality and efficiency of public opinion work.On the other hand,through the discourse analysis process and conclusions of news reports,readers are reminded that in the process of reading the newspaper,they need to improve their critical reading ability and enhance their awareness of discrimination. |
