As time progresses, higher education in China is becoming more and more popular, and university students are becoming more and more numerous. The pursuit of fashion and freedom by university students, who have just left parental control,is more prone to psychological problems than other groups.Physical exercise has been proven to be an important means and means to promote physical and mental health, and fitness and bodybuilding,as one of the most abundant physical exercise programs, has become more and more familiar to the public, but most of the descriptions of the effects of fitness and bodybuilding are focused on the physiological level, and there is a lack of research on the psychological aspects of exercise. This paper explores the impact of Psychological resilience and subjective well-being on college students’ mental health, and puts forward suggestions from many aspects to provide reference for improving college students’ ability to resist pressure, reducing negative emotions, relieving Psychological stress, and improving happiness. This article hopes(1)to spread fitness exercise to college students and actively promote fitness exercise on campus(2)to test the impact on college students’ psychology through the intervention of fitness exercise(3)to explore the role of Psychological resilience in fitness exercise and subjective well-being.In this paper,we will use different intensities of fitness and bodybuilding exercises for exercise interventions, and conduct questionnaire-assisted pre and post experiments to explore the effects of different intensities of fitness and bodybuilding exercises on university students’ psychological resilience and subjective well-being,while using spss macros to test the mediating effect of psychological resilience between the two.The experimental superimposed scales showed that both low and moderate intensity fitness and bodybuilding exercises had significant effects on the psychological resilience and subjective well-being of university students, and there were also significant effects on various dimensions of psychological resilience and subjective well-being.Both low and moderate intensity exercise had a positive effect on psychological resilience and subjective well-being,and although the effect of low and moderate intensity exercise was not as significant as high intensity exercise in the first six weeks,as the duration of exercise increased, the effect of low and moderate intensity exercise on psychological resilience and subjective well-being improved.Self-efficacy,affect regulation, interpersonal interaction and total score of psychological resilience fully mediated the effect of fitness and exercise on subjective well-being,while optimism and problem solving partially mediated the effect of fitness and exercise on subjective well-being.The discovery of the psychological value of fitness and bodybuilding exercise provides new directions for addressing the psychological problems of university students.College students can alleviate the fatigue and tension brought about by studying, working, and living by participating in fitness activities. They can also gain positive spiritual and emotional experiences, thereby improving their subjective well-being and finding new ways to relax for the guidance of college students’ happiness.
