In recent years,the physical health data of college students in China has become increasingly low,and as of 2020,the failure rate of college students in China ranks first among all school age stages,and up to 30%of college students fail in good health.Therefore,according to China’s national fitness program and the physical fitness needs of college students,the necessity of promoting college students to participate in fitness and bodybuilding is becoming more and more prominent,this paper takes the development of physical education professional fitness and bodybuilding courses in ordinary colleges and universities in Guiyang City as the research object,studies the participation of physical education students and the status quo of course development under the course development,summarizes the shortcomings of the current stage of course development and makes suggestions.Help the curriculum of fitness and bodybuilding in ordinary colleges and universities in Guiyang,so that physical education students can fully grasp the knowledge and theory of fitness and bodybuilding,and more effectively achieve the goal of participation when performing self-exercise,and also allow physical education students to integrate fitness and bodybuilding theory when engaging in school sports and social sports work,and promote the progress of national fitness.At the same time,with the help of the experience of fitness and bodybuilding courses in sports majors,the course can be gradually carried out to other majors,promote the wider spread of fitness and bodybuilding in college students,and enable more students to participate in fitness and bodybuilding,so as to improve the physical fitness of ordinary college students in Guiyang.Through questionnaire surveys,expert interviews and field visits,this paper investigates all ordinary colleges and universities in Guiyang,clarifies the development of physical fitness and bodybuilding courses in ordinary colleges and universities in Guiyang,finds out the research direction of this paper,clarifies the research ideas,and distributes a total of 756 student and teacher questionnaires to 6 ordinary colleges and universities(Guizhou Normal University,Guiyang College,Guizhou Medical University,Guizhou Minzu University,Guizhou Normal University,and Guiyang College of Humanities and Technology)that have carried out fitness and bodybuilding courses.Based on the investigation and research on the syllabus,teaching content,teaching form,teachers,fitness venues,and understanding of fitness and bodybuilding courses by physical education students of fitness and bodybuilding courses in six ordinary colleges and universities,the following conclusions were drawn.1.The fitness and bodybuilding courses do not cover all sports majors;Except for fitness and bodybuilding,the duration of the course is mostly 1 semester,and the class time is small;The arrangement of theoretical and practical classes is unreasonable,and there are too many theoretical classes;The course assessment form and assessment content are single,which cannot test the comprehensive value of the course to students.2.Physical education students have a shallow understanding of the basic theories of fitness and bodybuilding,which affects their own exercise effect;Female students majoring in physical education have a wrong perception of fitness and bodybuilding and are reluctant to participate in bodybuilding.3.The teaching venue of fitness and bodybuilding courses occupies a small area,has few types of facilities and equipment,insufficient number of equipment,lacks daily management of the venue,and unreasonable opening time arrangement,which cannot well meet the needs of student participation and teacher teaching.4.There is a professional mismatch among the teachers of fitness and bodybuilding courses;There is a single way for teachers to improve their professional knowledge and skills,and there is a lack of unified school organization.5.Schools attach low importance to fitness and bodybuilding,and the publicity of fitness and bodybuilding is small,and few schools hold fitness and bodybuilding related events.Carry out countermeasures: 1.Schools should cover all sports majors with fitness and bodybuilding courses,increase study hours in the class arrangement of fitness and bodybuilding courses,reasonably arrange the teaching content of fitness and bodybuilding courses,and increase practical class hours.2.Enrich the assessment content of fitness and bodybuilding courses,innovate the final assessment form of courses,stimulate students’ interest and consciousness in course learning,and better reflect the comprehensive value of the course.3.Schools should increase capital and manpower investment in fitness and bodybuilding sports venues to build a high-quality venue that meets the needs of teachers and students.4.Schools should attach importance to the construction of the teaching team of teachers in fitness and bodybuilding courses,hire professional teachers,and strengthen the continuous cultivation of teaching level and professional skills of classroom teachers.5.Schools should pay more attention to fitness and bodybuilding,strengthen publicity and activity planning,and let students know and understand fitness and bodybuilding through holding relevant events and lectures. |
