According to the General High School Physics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020Revision),high school physics education should take cultivating students’ core literacy as the overall goal and requirement,and strive to cultivate socialist successors with comprehensive development of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,aesthetics,and labor.As an important component of high school physics education,the history of physics plays an important role in cultivating students’ core competencies.This article aims to explore how to integrate the history of physics into the process of high school physics teaching,while cultivating students’ physics concepts,scientific exploration abilities,and scientific thinking abilities,and enhancing students’ positive scientific attitude and sense of responsibility,in order to promote the development of students’ core literacy.This article summarizes the research on integrating the history of physics into high school physics teaching both domestically and internationally,defines relevant core concepts and theories,and explores the importance and necessity of integrating the history of physics into high school physics teaching within the framework of core literacy theory.At the same time,from the perspective of core literacy,it organizes the physics history materials in high school compulsory textbooks for teaching reference.Analysis has found that integrating the history of physics into high school physics classroom teaching plays an important role in cultivating students’ core competencies.On the one hand,the history of physics records the origin and development of physics knowledge,which helps students better understand and apply physics knowledge,achieve knowledge transformation,and improve their learning interest and self-directed learning ability;On the other hand,the history of physics contains rich ideas and methods in physics,which can guide students to better form scientific thinking and exploration methods;Furthermore,the personality charm and scientific spirit of scientists can help students establish correct scientific attitudes and responsibilities,and comprehensively improve their core literacy.This article uses questionnaire survey and interview methods to investigate the current situation of integrating physics history into high school physics teaching.Based on the survey results,the teaching principles of integrating physics history and high school physics knowledge are proposed,which are scientific,interesting,appropriate,and historical logical.Furthermore,a teaching strategy was proposed to integrate the history of physics into high school physics teaching,which includes "creating scenarios for physics history,introducing new courses","reducing experiments as carriers,conducting exploration","historical development as a thread,constructing knowledge",and "physics history as the core,expanding learning".Finally,two teaching cases were designed based on the content of "Free Falling Motion" and "Coulomb’s Law",and the teaching strategies proposed in this article were presented in detail.Writer hopes this study can draw the attention of educators to the integration of physics history into high school physics teaching,and provide reference and reference for high school physics teachers’ classroom teaching.
