| This paper examines the use of ’dance movement’ in music teaching in the context of aesthetic education,as dance is a sister art to music, and the two are interrelated. As one of the key areas of the humanities, basic music education is also a significant way to apply aesthetic education.Music is an auditory art and students will always sway their bodies rhythmically to the beat of the music and the stronger the musical emotion, the greater the body sway, which flows naturally from the body and the brain. This thesis is a study of the integration of music and dance movement in the context of aesthetic education, using Primary 6 students as the teaching target and the Renyin version of the Primary 6 music textbook as the teaching content. The aim of this research is to explore the possibilities of music and dance and the various forms of artistic expression that they can bring forth;to explore the students’ physical and receptive abilities and to promote the development of their creative spirit and practical skills;and to cultivate a richness of musical expression in the "visual, auditory, kinesthetic and creative" sense of students in the context of aesthetic education. It is a pedagogical model for the enrichment of musical expression in the context of aesthetic education. This study consists of three parts: introduction, body, and conclusion. The introductory part includes the reason for choosing the topic and the significance of the study, the analysis of the current situation of the relevant literature research at home and abroad, the research method of the thesis, and the important and innovative points of the thesis. The main text covers four chapters: Chapter 1,theoretical study of music teaching and dance movement in the perspective of aesthetic education. This part mainly presents the theories related to aesthetic education, music, rhythm and dance movement, and provides the theoretical basis for the research of the whole text.Chapter 2,an overview of the investigation of the integration of dance movement in the sixth grade music classroom under the vision of aesthetic education. This section focuses on identifying problems, analyzing the current situation of music education in schools, observing music teaching examples, and going into schools to conduct questionnaire research with teachers and students to identify teachers who are not professionally trained in dance and ask about the difficulties in the teaching process(what are the difficulties in applying dance movements to music teaching? How to choose the right dance moves for the songs? How to present and explain the dance movements? etc.).Chapter 3: Strategies for the application of "dance movements" in music teaching under the perspective of aesthetic education. In this chapter, based on theoretical research and analysis of the current situation of music education, the author analyzes the music textbooks of the upper and lower grades of the sixth grade, classifies the songs, selects the appropriate dance types according to the song categories, and then implements the research in concrete ways: finding the difficulties and problems of adding dance movements to music teaching, analyzing what kinds of dance movements are suitable for each type of songs, finally designing the dance movements, explaining the dance movements, and presenting the designed dance movements. The study will then be implemented in concrete terms: discovering the difficulties and problems of adding dance movements to music teaching, analyzing what kinds of dance movements are suitable for each type of songs, finally designing dance movements, explaining the dance movements, and decomposing the designed dance movements to take pictures and record videos.Chapter 4: Prospects for the study of music teaching and dance movements in the perspective of aesthetic education. This chapter provides innovative directions and perspectives on the integration of music and dance movements in the school music classroom. |
