Since the21st century, the state vigorously promote quality education, Musicaesthetic education as an important field of aesthetic education, is not only animportant approach to aesthetic education in school, but also the best way is toachieve the overall goal of quality education which is Virtue, Wisdom, Body, Beautyand Labor comprehensive development. Music course is a basic course for the coreof aesthetic appreciation, music education with the core of music aesthetics, what isput forward clearly by the national Ministry of education in2001with “Musiccourse standard of full-time compulsory education (experiment draft)”,ThusCultivating students’ aesthetic ability is the core of the music curriculum objective,However, due to the school or the teacher understanding of the aesthetic education ofmusic is not deep enough, which leads to the implementation of the aestheticeducation of music is not ideal, So, how take the aesthetic education of music inmusic teaching into practice is the prominent and urgent problem.In this paper, firstly summarizes the origin and the basic theory of aestheticeducation and aesthetic education of music, and in East Sichuan area (Dazhou City,Bazhong City, Guang’an City)as an example, analysis of the current situation ofjunior high school music aesthetic education in these areas, according to theproblems(such as Select a single music teaching content, limit the development ofaesthetic ability; attention to the external value, ignore the aesthetic value; basicknowledge and skill and aesthetic capacity of a serious mismatch) in the currentimplementation of music curriculum in junior middle school. How to train students’aesthetic ability in various music practice, put forward the suggestions sandstrategies. Its purpose is to hope that this research will be beneficial to the similarschools music teaching practice.
