RSR Analysis Of The Offensive And Defensive Capabilities Of The Chinese Women's 3x3 Basketball Team At The 2020 Tokyo Olympic

Three-player basketball has officially become an Olympic event since the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.In the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games women’s three-person basketball competition,China won the bronze medal with an impressive record,which is another Olympic medal for China basketball after 28 years.This also proves that China’s women’s three-person basketball project is developing rapidly,and at the same time,it shows the competitiveness of China’s women’s three-person basketball project in international competitions.It is of great significance to study the offensive and defensive ability of China team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games for the overall development of China’s three-person basketball project.In this study,the attack and defense ability of China women’s three-person basketball team and its opponents in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games was taken as the research object.By using the methods of literature review,video analysis,RSR and logical analysis,the attack and defense ability of China team and its opponents in this competition was objectively and effectively evaluated and analyzed.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)In terms of physical indicators,the Chinese women’s three-man basketball team has obvious advantages compared with the participating teams,mainly reflected in the small average age of the team members,higher average height,larger weight,and larger Ketole index.(2)In terms of offensive ability,China team is in the level of B,with the RSR value of 0.63,ranking fourth.Compared with other participating teams,it has an absolute advantage in offensive rebounds with an average of 5.2 times,with 9.8 hits in one-point shots,56.0%in one-point shots and excellent performance in free throws.Compared with the data of each team,the indicators of scoring are not dominant,and the performance is quite satisfactory;China’s weak performance in the data of 3.3 assists per game and 6.4 turnovers per game,less teamwork and more turnovers are the important factors for the team’s defeat.(3)In terms of defensive ability,China team is in the level of level B,and the defensive RSR value is 0.64,ranking third.Compared with other teams,China team performed better in controlling the number of fouls and losing points,with an average of about 5 fouls per game and 14.5 points per game.Compared with other teams,the China three-man basketball team has an average performance in controlling defensive rebounding ability and blocking ability,with an average of 11.9 defensive rebounds and 0.9 blocked shots.China’s performance in these two abilities is not outstanding when compared with other teams’ absolute advantage in Ketole index,which is enough to show that China’s defensive strength needs to be improved.(4)We can know that China’s offensive and defensive abilities are both within the level of B.By bringing the rank of offensive and defensive abilities into the RSR calculation formula,it is concluded that the RSR value of China’s comprehensive offensive and defensive ability is 0.69,and its overall offensive and defensive ability ranks fourth among all teams.In the three-player basketball game,the ability of both offensive and defensive ends can have a more obvious impact on the final result.Among all the participating teams,only when the offensive end and the defensive end are relatively balanced can they occupy a favorable position in the competition.
