Dragon Dancing is a traditional sport event in our country,which has the strong function of strengthening the body.The Curriculum Standard of Physical Education and Health for Senior High Schools(2020 edition)(hereinafter referred to as The Curriculum Standard)puts forward “ordinary high school physical education and health course in terms of curriculum content,should pay attention to student learning and development of meaningful traditional sports project.The Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Sports Work in the New Era and Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Aesthetic Education in the New Era(short for the Opinions)both clearly state to promote the spirit of Chinese sports,promote traditional Chinese sports,carefully sort out martial arts,wrestling,chess Classes,archery,dragon boat,shuttlecock,five animal exercises,dragon dance and other traditional Chinese sports”.Therefore,the introduction of Dragon Dancing into senior high school physical education conforms to the requirements and spirit of The Curriculum Standard and the Opinions.This paper takes the application of Dragon Dancing in senior high school physical education as the topic,and tries to verify the effect of Dragon Dancing teaching on the core literacy of high school students’ physical education and health subjects(exercise ability,healthy behaviour and sports moral)as well as cooperation by comparing the teaching mode and multivariate data of the experimental class and the control class.Besides,it also tries to improve the experience and examples of how to implement Dragon Dancing teaching in senior high school through teaching cases,teaching plans and teaching suggestions.Dragon Dancing is a traditional sport of the Chinese nation with strong national characteristics.It is in line with the requirements and spirit of the New Curriculum Standard to introduce it into the physical education of senior high schools.Based on the research of school-based curriculum in Shijiazhuang NO.44 Senior High School as an example,through the comparison of the experimental class’ s and the control class’ s teaching mods and multivariate data,this paper tries to verify high school school-based curriculum based on Dragon Dancing has more positive effects in promoting senior high school students’ sports ability,health and sports behavior,moral character and spirit of cooperation;Through teaching cases and teaching suggestions,it aims to provide some experience and examples of how to implement such teaching.In order to fully realize those research purposes,this paper finally decides to employ the Literature Method,Teaching Experiment Method,Questionnaire Method together with Measurement Method as well as Mathematical Statistics Method.As for the framework,to be first this paper discusses the research background,explains the purpose and significance,and makes the research technical framework.Secondly,it introduces and explains related some technical terms,containing Dragon Dancing and PE and health discipline core literacy,and summarizes and comments the research status at home and abroad.Thirdly,this paper makes a detailed introduction about some basic elements in the research,containing objects and methods;Then,this paper discusses the effectiveness of physical education teaching based on Dragon Dancing from the views of sports ability as well as healthy behavior together with sports morality and cooperative spirit.All experimental data come from a P.E.teaching experiments in the author’s working school.By full teaching comparison between the control class and the experimental class and data analysis,this paper concludes that the school-based Dragon Dancing has the following effects on senior high school students:(1)It can significantly improve the value of standing long jump,pull-up,sit-up,and sitting body forward bend,enhance the strength of upper and lower limbs,promote muscle movement,improve the stretching ability,and promote the body flexibility;it has no significant improvement effect on the values of 50 meters running,vital capacity,BMI and long-distance running,and does not play a role in promoting body shape,body function and enhancing explosive power;(2)It can greatly enhance the awareness of sports and exercise of high school students,help them develop good habits of physical exercise,improve their health awareness,initially help them grasp basic health knowledge and form the idea of living a healthy life;(3)It also can better improve the sports morality of senior high school students,including the endurance of bearing hardships and standing hard work,and cultivating the spirit of teamwork and fairness and justice;(4)It can significantly cultivate the cooperative spirit,enhance the cooperative consciousness and improve the cooperative ability of senior high school students.From the above conclusions,we can see that Dragon Dancing courses have different influences on physical education and health discipline core quality of high school students.In view of the weak degree of influence and the key concept of core literacy,this paper comes up with the following improving teaching strategies: strengthening all-round physical training,conducting the publicity of health behavior knowledge,and cultivating good physical morality.
