Hearing-impaired children is a huge special vulnerable groups in our society. and as for their physical and mental development, there is no qualitative difference between normal children and them. However, in their learning process, barriers of hearing bring them obvious difficulties of cognitive ability of objective things. Compared with normal people, hearing-impaired children’s physical and mental formation and development are effected by more complex factors, which may bring them with more serious obstacles than ordinary people, and make their physical and mental development and behavior more adversely affected. This paper focus on the study of dance teaching for hearing-impaired children’s physical and mental health fitness indexes. Through targeted dance training, children’s sentiment, physical and mental health are promoted, and the goal has been achieved to make psychological compensation, help special children perceive the world, understand the world, build self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance spirit and improve the social adaptation ability. In this study, Jinan hearing-impaired children are choosen to be the research object. The methodology for the study includes literature review, interviews, questionnaire, observation, testing methods, mathematical statistics and other research methods. After a period of one semester of experimental teaching and training, the before and after training physiological indicators and psychological questionnaires are analyzed and compared. The results show that:1. After a semester of dance practice, the overweight hearing-impaired children lose some weight, while the body weight of children underweight has increased, indicating that dance teaching for hearing-impaired children has a significant effect on improving the body shape.2. After a semester of dance exercises, sit-ups ability has been greatly improved, indicating that dance exercises can enhance practitioners’waist, thigh strength. In the course of dance training, because of the absence of upper limb muscle strength traning, except for natural growth factors, grip strength, push-ups indicators have improved, but do not have significant differences.3. Comparing the results before and after training, one leg standing with eyes closed, vestibular function system capabilities have been improved, indicating that dance training for children can be served as a good balance training. 4. Hearing-impaired children after a semester of dance practice, the vital capacity, maximum oxygen uptake increased resting heart rate, blood pressure has fallen, indicating a long dance exercise to improve cardiovascular fitness practitioners have a significant effect.5. After a semester of dance practice, the flexibility of the hearing-impaired children has improved a lot, indicating that long term dance practice can help shape the body.6. After a semester of dance practice, the bounce ability of the hearing-impaired children has improved a lot, indicating a long dance exercises has a significant effect on the ability of children’s activities.7. After a semester of dance practice, hearing-impaired children improved in the "learning anxiety","self-blame tendencies" and "allergic tendencies" in a highly significant difference and significant difference. This shows that the dance teaching functions on hearing-impaired children psychologically in adjusting the tension to ease learning, to overcome pressure of life and to overcome feelings of inferiority, self confidence.8. After a semester of dance practice, hearing-impaired children improved in the "anxiety of the people,""lonely tendencies" and "allergic tendencies" in a highly significant difference and significant difference. This shows that the dance teaching can change the feeling of loneliness of the hearing-impaired children, and can promote them to communication with others.9. After a semester of dance practice, hearing-impaired children have a highly significant difference in the "physical symptoms" factors, indicating the dance teaching can reduce anxiety and depression symptoms of the children and the children can develop a strong will. For this study, I propose the following suggestions:1. The use of visual presentation method of dance teaching. Since hearing-impaired children’s main learning method is observation, in the teaching process, teachers must pay attention to their demonstration, and make the action process demonstrated carefully and clearly. In addition for low-level, young age and small classes, teachers must constantly demonstrate to the students and dance together with the students. 2. The establishment measurement and evaluation system for the children with disabilities (especially children with hearing impairment) on dance posture, physical fitness and physical function, allowing educators and children with disabilities (especially the hearing-impaired children) timely and effectively understand of the body changes after dance practice, guiding children with disabilities (especially the hearing-impaired children) in the dance teaching and training process, and promoting the development of teaching and training of dance practice for children with disabilities (especially the hearing-impaired children).3. School, family and community should further enhance the understanding of mental health knowledge towards hearing-impaired children. Based on the characteristics of the hearing-impaired children, we should take rational and effective approaches to enhance mental health education in the everyday teaching process.4. The establishment systematic dance training plan for children with disabilities (especially children with hearing impairment), raising the awareness of dance teaching for children with disabilities (especially children with hearing impairment).
