| The family is the cell of society and children are the future of the nation.Focusing on family education is the key to returning to the origins of education and forming a synergy between family,school and society,and plays a fundamental role in deepening education reform,nurturing basic socialist values and cultivating knowledgeable,virtuous and capable builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.It is directly related to the vital interests of hundreds of millions of families and the future destiny of the country.In the new era,with the reform of basic education,the importance of family education has been very clearly presented to the public.At the same time,the guidance of family education at the upper primary level has also ushered in a whole new set of challenges.In the reality of family education,most parents lack the guidance of relevant educational theories when educating their children in the face of the changing characteristics of the physical and mental development of students in the upper primary school.While school education is advocating "reducing the burden",family education at the upper primary level is constantly "increasing the burden" for children,which inevitably leads to over-intervention in parenting.On the other hand,with the impact of the epidemic,there are limitations to the methods of family education guidance used in the past and there is a need to enrich the content and form of family education guidance.While family education guidance has brought new challenges,it has also brought certain opportunities.The latest Law on the Promotion of Family Education clearly states that teachers’ "family education guidance capacity" should be improved,which means that teachers’ family education guidance for students has become an important part of improving the standard of family education nowadays.As new challenges arise,it is confusing and difficult for frontline teachers to decide what theoretical system to base their guidance on,what content to guide,and in what way to guide.This study takes the upper-level family education guidance of primary school teachers as the research object,addresses the challenges and opportunities faced by teachers in the family education guidance of upper-level primary school students,discusses the relevant theories and strategies of family education guidance,and provides certain ideas for primary school teachers’ family education guidance by combining their own work experience.This study is divided into five main parts.In the first part,the background of the chosen topic,related concepts,literature review at home and abroad,the significance of the purpose of the study,research ideas and methods are explained.In the second part,the theoretical foundation of family education guidance for upper primary school teachers in the context of the new era is built from two dimensions: policy and legal support and theoretical support.In the third part,the principles and objectives of family education guidance in the upper primary school level are constructed in two dimensions.In the fourth part,the content selection,guidance model and methods of family education guidance for upper primary school are proposed from two dimensions: ways and methods,using interviews and cases.In the fifth part,the conclusions and shortcomings of this study are summarised and sorted out to provide experience and ideas for subsequent research. |
