At the beginning of 2020,the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic had a serious impact on the national education and teaching work.In order to ensure the normal development of teaching work, all types of schools at all levels organized teaching online for the first time, the physical place carrying teaching activities shifted from class classroom to network cloud, and the interaction of teaching information between teachers and students changed from face-to-face to online interaction. From the perspective of media situational theory, this paper focuses on the changes in the roles of teachers, primary school students and students’ parents in the online teaching mode and the changes in teaching, learning and teaching assistant behaviors, finds out the dilemma of tripartite education participants in education and teaching, and analyzes the reasons for the dilemma from the perspective of teaching media change,so as to explore the strategy of optimizing online teaching in primary schools and provide new ideas for the development of distance education teaching in China.Taking H City Primary School as an example, this paper uses the bibliographic method, questionnaire survey method and conversation method to analyze the dilemma faced by primary school students, teachers and parents in primary school online teaching practice.Through the survey,it was found that teachers lacked skills in building highquality teaching situations, weak awareness of leading students’ all-round development, insufficient interaction in online situations, and failure to take responsibility in remote family education guidance.Insufficient teaching assistant ability, insufficient attention to children, and insufficient cooperation with teachers; Many factors such as the lack of initiative and self-control of primary school students jointly restrict the effect of online teaching in primary schools.Based on the survey results and from the perspective of media situation theory, the reasons for the dilemma of online teaching are analyzed from four perspectives: control contact of information, exposure degree of background, change of scene boundary and change of group identity. Finally, starting from the internal factors and external environment affecting online teaching, corresponding solution strategies are proposed, including improving the ability of teachers, primary school students and parents to teach, learn and assist online, schools carry out special training for teachers at different levels, and government, business, schools and enterprises jointly build education networks.Through this study,we hope to improve the current situation of online teaching in primary schools and accelerate the in-depth implementation of education informatization in China.
