Abstract/Summary:
Women’s issues have always been one of the hot spots that aroused social attention. With the continuous progress of society, after the founding of New China, the Chinese government attached great importance to the development and liberation of women, issued the slogan "Women can hold up half the sky",and encouraged women to participate in social employment.Women’s social functions have been greatly demonstrated. But while emphasizing the need to pay close attention to women’s needs and development, the discussion about "women coming home" has never stopped. With the increase in the number of full-time mothers, the family life of full-time mothers has gradually attracted people’s attention. Some people think that women should not completely return to the family after marriage and childbirth. They think that women who become full-time mothers are all career losers, but they have to choose to return to the family because of the failure of competition in the workplace. There is another voice that supports the return of women to the family. For modern intellectual women, their return to the family is conducive to the stability of family relations and the growth of children.Housewives are the main bearers of daily housework, they are the mediators and catalysts of the family, and they have a great influence on the family. After women return to their families, they naturally assume the heavy responsibility of educating their children. This article does not discuss whether women should return to the family, but instead studies the various problems of stay-at-home mothers who have returned to the family from the workplace in the early stages of their return.Through the link of community resources,we conducted a survey on the H community to understand the daily life of stay-at-home mothers.By arranging the information obtained from the questionnaires and interviews,we found that the common problems of stay-at-home mothers who participated in the investigation and interview were as follows: In terms of attitude towards life, resulting in a lower self-evaluation,which is manifested as a low sense of self-identity;in family relationships, family emotional support is not strong, which is manifested as failure of role-playing;in social relationships, social activity participation is not active, and the social support network is weak. These are all manifestations of character maladaptation. Therefore, based on field observation and self-life experience, the author selects typical cases as the case service objects, analyzes the needs of the service objects, and formulates case plans from the dimensions of role cognition, role expectations, and role playing. The guiding ideology helps stay-at-home mothers solve the problem of maladaptive role in the process of changing from a workplace role to a family role from the personal level, the interpersonal level and the social support level. In case practice, first, help the case to clarify the role of stay-at-home mothers, and counsel to solve the psychological and emotional problems they face;secondly, strengthen the emotional support of family members to the client, improve the level of parent-child communication, and change the role expectations of the client..Finally,by focusing on improving the social support system of the service recipients, encouraging the gradual expansion of the social circle starting from the community, and enhancing the role-playing ability by deepening social interaction.Although the case work method adopted this time is conducive to solving the problems of the service objects in a targeted manner,it is difficult to represent the group problems due to the effective number of samples collected, which is the shortcoming of this research.
