Left-behind children due to a lack of family education correctly guide,causing all sorts of problems highlighted increasingly The sex education of mental health problems become the focus of people talk about,adolescence left-behind children body and mind in a stage of rapid development,lack of mental health education,can cause bad influence to their growth and development,and may even lead to harassment sexual assault This study takes the adolescent rural left-behind children in H Middle school as the research object to explore the way of group work on sexual mental health education for left-behind children.First,conduct a needs assessment by using the method of combination of questionnaire and interview to adolescence left-behind child sex psychological health education present situation investigation analysis,analysis of the demand The results found that adolescent left-behind children about sex psychological health education in rural areas are three aspects: demand,respectively is to promote gender cognition Healthy gender values Promote gender ability to adapt Secondly,the design based on the needs assessment,guided by the theory of cognitive behavior,from the gender cognitive gender values Gender to adapt to the three dimensions design youth leading group intervention plan Once again,to carry out the practice research From three dimensions was carried out by 7 times practice service,so as to promote adolescent left-behind children’s physical and mental changes in knowledge,understanding of gender differences between men and women To help them establish scientific gender attitudes and healthy gender values;Group work plays an important role in the sexual and mental health education of adolescent left-behind children in rural areas,but also has shortcomings such as short service cycle.This study applies group work to the sexual mental health education of adolescent rural left-behind children,which expands the research field of social work and is of great significance to the promotion of the application scope of social work.At the same time,attention should be paid to improving the professional ability of social workers in the process of application.
