Parents are the main body of family education,and family education is indispensable to the healthy growth of children.At present,due to the weak family education knowledge and ability of some rural parents,the uncoordinated parent-child relationship has seriously affected the healthy growth of their children.Based on this,by consulting the relevant literature of parental education,this paper summarizes and analyzes the research results on the current situation,causes of difficulties and Strategies of parental education ability of rural families,designs the research scheme and carries out the practical research of social work.Through a questionnaire survey of 30 parents randomly selected from L village,this paper analyzes the current situation of family parental education in L village and the causes of the problems.The survey found that some families in L village have some problems,such as weak parental education ability,inadequate performance of parents’ family responsibilities,unscientific parental education methods,insufficient parent-child communication and so on.This situation is caused by many factors,such as the lack of rural parental education services,the low educational level of parents,the lack of social support,the heavy economic burden of families and so on.Based on the needs assessment,the study uses the empowerment theory to intervene in the improvement of the service object’s family parental education ability.Firstly,the concept of parental education ability is operationalized,and its dimensions include parental education knowledge,self-efficacy and parent-child communication ability.Social workers and clients jointly formulate the service plan of this case work and plan to provide seven services for clients.At the initial stage of service,help the service object acquire parental education knowledge through teaching method;In the middle stage of service,promote the self-efficacy of service objects by monitoring emotions,verbal persuasion,social participation and other methods;In the later stage of service,the initiative of the service object is brought into play by linking family resources and social resources to the service object,so as to improve the parent-child communication ability.So that they can educate their children scientifically,ensure that their children can receive scientific rearing methods in the process of growth,and promote family harmony.Through the evaluation of the service object and their children by using the methods of interview and questionnaire,it is found that this service can effectively solve the problems of the service object’s lack of educational methods,lack of self-confidence and poor parent-child communication.At the same time,it helps the service object master the relevant knowledge of parent-child education,improves the sense of self-efficacy and parent-child communication ability,and promotes the improvement of the service object’s family parent-child education ability.Finally,summarize and reflect on the experience and lessons learned in the service. |
