With the development of PROFINET Ethernet in the field of industrial control,as well as the severity of security problems in the field of industrial control,it is of great significance to develop a PROFINET communication IO device with secure encrypted transmission.In this paper,the encryption module and PROFINET communication equipment are integrated,and the PROFINET communication IO equipment with security encryption transmission function is designed.The equipment is designed based on STM32 series chips,and can encrypt the data in industrial communication.It is transmitted to the PROFINET network through the PROFINET protocol.This paper first describes the PROFINET technology overview,introduces the PROFINET communication principle,and analyzes the industrial Ethernet security issues,through encryption technology for communication security protection,the choice of symmetric encryption algorithm AES encryption algorithm as encryption algorithm and introduces its principle.Then the hardware and software design of the designed PROFINET IO device was carried out,and the chip selection was carried out in the hardware design.STM32 series chips were used as the main control chips,including Ethernet chip W5500 and switch chip IP175 G,and power module,PROFINET interface module,FPGA encryption module,and peripheral circuit were added.Including the schematic diagram of each module is introduced;The software design introduces the embedded design and development environment Keil,STM32 Cube MX and FPGA development environment,the software design of each module,also includes PROFINET protocol stack overview,GSD file introduction and writing.Finally,the verification platform was built,and the configuration was carried out by Siemens S7-200 PLC.The packet capture test of PROFINET communication data was carried out by logic analyzer,and the test results met the requirements.
