With the development trend of high performance, intelligentize and networking of AC servotechnology and the rise of ethernet in the field of industrial control,it’s of great significance toresearch and develop AC servo driver with Industrial Ethernet interface. On the basis of in-depthresearch of PROFINET Industrial Ethernet technology,and combining the PROFINET IndustrialEthernet technology with AC servo technology, the slave station for All-digital AC servo drive withPROFINET communication interface is designed.The PROFINET Industrial Ethernet technology is studied in this paper,and the type of PROFINETIndustrial Ethernet technology is introduced. the PROFINET IO models including PROFINET IOdevice type, device model and type of communication is analyzed in detail,and PROFINET IOprotocol is introduced.The Industrial Ethernet interface of AC servo driver is designed by adopting modulecomX100-CA-RE based on PROFINET IO protocol. the control system of AC servo driver isdesigned by applying the chip STM32F207IGT6based on ARM cortex M3and high performance ACservo control IC IRMCK201.In the development environment of Keil MDK-ARM,the software of the slave station for AC servodriver is designed in the paper. The overall software design is introduced in detail,and the software ofethernet module comX-CA-RE and AC servo control IC IRMCK201is designed. The PROFINET IOcommunication function and AC servo control function of the slave station have been achieved.On the basis of the completion of the software and hardware for the slave station,PROFINETIndustrial Ethernet is constructed by using siemens PLC S7-300as the IO controller,PC as the IOmonitor and AC servo driver as the IO device.The test software is developed simultaneously and thePROFINET communication ability and AC servo control function of the slave station for AC servodriver has been tested.At last the anticipated results have been achieved.
