As a public health emergency,the "COVID-19" epidemic has become a global common concern in 2020.At the same time,the "information epidemic" which spread rapidly under the environment of Information Communication Technology also attracted wide attention.In China,Weibo has become a public discourse space where citizens can communicate with each other due to its characteristics of grassroots,openness,interactivity and immediacy.In the "COVID-19" epidemic,almost all the subjects of information publisher were concentrated on Weibo,making a large amount of information which carried a variety of emotions being propelled and transmitted.Therefore,this study attempts to demonstrate users'emotional expression in Weibo.This study used emotional analysis and content analysis,among the hot topics about "COVID-19" epidemic in Weibo in the first half of 2020,I selected 6 topics about#????#?#????#?#????#?#?????#?#?????#?#4?8?????????????#,totalling 1200 items to practice the emotional analysis.The main content of this paper includes five parts.The first part describes the background and significance of the research.The second part is a literature review of "Weibo public opinion" and "sentiment communication and sentiment analysis in Weibo".The third part is mainly about research design,including research methods,research problems,research objects and sample coding.The fourth part is the research findings,use SPSS to count and analysis the main emotional tendencies and emotional types in "COVID-19" epidemic and detailed content analysis.The fifth part is the research conclusion.Since sentiment analysis involves multidisciplinary research,this study combines some theories of psychology and sociology,and also uses the context of public opinion dissemination on social media platforms dominated by Weibo throughout the whole text.The findings are as follows:Firstly,in terms of the emotional tendency of Weibo users in COVID-19 epidemic,negative emotional tendency occupies the dominant position,while positive emotional tendency and neutral emotional tendency occupy the second and third place.In terms of types of emotion,the number of "questioning"emotion of negative emotion is the largest;In terms of the transmission power of each emotion type,the order from strong to weak is anger,anxiety,condemnation,sadness,protest,doubt.fear,hope,recognition,praise,moving,joy and admiration.The reasons for the formation of Weibo users' emotional tendencies and types of emotion can be explained through the emotional analysis framework composed of "media","cognition","keynote emotion" and "state emotion".Secondly,in terms of "Emotional Portraits of Weibo Users in "COVID-19"epidemical,the subjects of emotional expression involve grassroots,media,opinion leaders,government and enterprises,among which grassroots group accounts for the largest proportion.In terms of the expression of emotional tendency,non-grassroots(government,media,enterprises and opinion leaders)group expressed more positive emotional tendency,while grassroots group showed an obvious trend of polarization toward negative emotional tendency.The objects of emotional expression is the government,media and experts.Among the ways of expression of different subjects,the text category is mainly about original microblog expressed by grassroots group.In terms of communicational symbols,text symbols involve the most text,followed by multi-symbol composite transmission and picture symbols.
