Learning behavior engagement is generally considered as the amount of time,energy,and effort that students invest in the learning process.Previous research has confirmed that behavioral engagement is an important social foundation for generating cognitive and emotional engagement,and is one of the factors affecting the effectiveness of blended asynchronous learning.However,there are few evaluation studies specifically targeting learners’ behavioral engagement in hybrid asynchronous learning environments,and the construction of an evaluation index system for blended asynchronous learning behavioral engagement is of great significance for evaluating learners’ learning effectiveness and the in-depth development of blended teaching.In view of this,this study focuses on student behavioral engagement in a mixed asynchronous learning environment and constructs an evaluation index system for mixed asynchronous learning behavioral engagement.Intended to improve the effectiveness of blended asynchronous learning,help educators improve teaching strategies and better conduct teaching evaluations,while also helping to improve the teaching quality evaluation system and provide support for teaching evaluation and personalized learning.This study summarizes the evaluation research on blended learning,behavioral engagement,and learning engagement both domestically and internationally,identifies the purpose,significance,content,and methods of the research,clarifies the key and innovative points of the research,defines the relevant concepts of student learning engagement in a mixed asynchronous learning environment,and uses constructivist learning theory and engagement learning theory as the theoretical basis for the research.Firstly,the construction of an evaluation index system for mixed asynchronous learning behavior investment.Collect and incorporate previous literature based on the construction principles and processes of the evaluation index system,and select effective data to provide a foundation for subsequent research;Using content analysis method to analyze and encode effective data,preliminarily determine the evaluation indicators for mixed asynchronous learning behavior investment;The expert consultation and correlation analysis were used to screen the evaluation indicators and determine the structure table of the mixed asynchronous learning behavior investment evaluation indicator system.The evaluation system structure table consists of 3 first level indicators,11 second level indicators,and 24 third level indicators;By conducting a questionnaire survey on experts to obtain scores for relevant indicators,the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Entropy Method are used to assign weights to each indicator,forming an evaluation index system for learning behavior investment in a mixed asynchronous learning environment.Secondly,the application of the mixed asynchronous learning behavior investment evaluation index system.This study selected a class from B University in J city to apply the evaluation index system to evaluate the behavioral engagement of students in the mixed asynchronous learning environment,and conducted interviews with teachers and students.The application and interview results indicate that the learning behavior engagement indicator system has certain practical value and operability.
