Research On The Current Situation And Cultivation Path Of College Students’ Red Cultural Identity In The New Era

In 2014,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed in his speech at the Central Ethnic Work Conference that cultural identity is the deepest level of identity,the root of ethnic unity and the soul of ethnic harmony.Red culture is a colourful piece in the history of Chinese civilisation,and the noble spirit contained in red culture is an important part of the spiritual genealogy of the Chinese nation,and is the spiritual motivation that inspires descendants of Chinese nation to move forward.University students are in the "golden period" and "stormy period" of their life development,and need the nourishment and guidance of red culture.Red cultural identity is the core and foundation of national and ethnic identity,and it is also an inherent requirement for firm cultural self-confidence and nurturing the new generation of the times.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to strengthen the red cultural identity of university students in the new era,as it is related to national rejuvenation,the ruling foundation of the Communist Party of China,the inheritance and innovative development of red culture,and the growth and success of university students.Based on the requirements of the times,this paper explains in depth the significance of red cultural identity among university students,uses literature research,survey research and interview methods to grasp the current situation of red cultural identity among university students in the new era,analyzes the existing problems and analyses the causes,with a view to proposing a realistic and feasible cultivation path for red cultural identity among university students in the new era.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the background of the topic and the significance of the research on the red cultural identity of college students in the new era,reviews a large amount of literature,summarises and analyses domestic and international research,establishes the research ideas and methods of this paper on this basis,summarises and refines the innovative points of the paper,and scientifically justifies the necessity and feasibility of this research.The second part elaborates the connotation,theoretical basis and value implications of red cultural identity among university students.By combing through the relevant literature,it clarifies the meaning,essence,goal,inner mechanism and influencing factors of the red cultural identity of university students,summarises the theoretical basis of the red cultural identity of university students from the historical context,and enhances its important value implication from the realistic concern,so as to lay a solid theoretical support for the research and enhance the significance of the research.The third part of the questionnaire design and qualitative interviews is based on the law of growth and cognition of university students.Through field research,it is found that the overall red culture identity of university students shows a good trend,and the degree of cognitive identity,emotional identity and behavioural identity have all increased.At the same time,there are also some problems,such as the one-sidedness of students’ red culture cognitive identity,instability of emotional identity and inconsistency of behavioural identity.Through the investigation,it is found that the external reasons affecting the red culture identity of university students are mainly reflected in the complex cultural situation in which they find themselves,the imperfect concepts and mechanisms of universities,and the lack of specificity of a single propaganda method,while the internal constraints are manifested in the lack of intrinsic motivation for the red culture identity of university students and the lack of firm belief in red culture.In the fourth part,based on the practical investigation,the cultivation path of the red cultural identity of college students in the new era is proposed around four aspects:enhancing cognition,promoting emotion,strengthening behaviour and improving mechanism.Firstly,education and guidance should be strengthened to enhance the cognitive identity of red culture among university students;secondly,a strong atmosphere should be created to strengthen the emotional identity of red culture among university students;thirdly,the practical field should be enriched to promote the behavioural identity of red culture among university students;fourthly,the mechanism related to the identity of red culture among university students should be improved to protect the long-term development of the identity of red culture among university students,so as to create a comprehensive and three-dimensional cultivation path.I sincerely hope that this paper can provide research thinking for later scholars to further study the red cultural identity of university students.
