Today,with the rapid popularization of smart phones,the powerful function of mobile phones makes it become an attached "organ" of the human body with body temperature.It has become a common social phenomenon that mobile phones are not only a means of entertainment,social media and information acquisition tool,but also make users increasingly addicted to it.We have to admit that mobile phones are "kidnapping" human beings,isolating human beings from the screen of mobile phones,and increasingly detached from real life Influenced by physiological and psychological development,middle school students seek novelty and difference.The powerful social entertainment and information functions of mobile phones satisfy middle school students’ psychology of seeking novelty and stimulation.When facing the powerful temptation of mobile phones,only by seting long-term goals and learning to control,can they not be hijacked by mobile phones.Therefore,based on the theory of expectations and value and the theory of cold and heat system of delayed gratification,this paper discusses the relationship between sensation seeking,smartphone dependence and self-delayed gratification ability,and designs group-assisted activities with the theme of self-delayed gratification ability.Through group-assisted activities,the self-delayed gratification ability of middle school students can be improved,so as to reduce the level of smartphone dependence.This study is divided into two parts.In study 1,600 middle school students were surveyed by using the "B-SSS-C,the Mobile Phone Dependence Scale for Junior High School and the(DOG).552 valid questionnaires were collected,and the data were analyzed by using SPSS26.0 and AMOS.This paper discusses the relationship between sensation seeking,smartphone dependence and self-delayed gratification ability.In study2,based on the data of study 1,students with low self-delayed gratification ability and high smartphone dependence level are selected and divided into the intervention group and the control group.Students in the intervention group participate in the group counseling activities themed on self-delayed gratification ability.The results are as follows:(1)There is a significant correlation between sensation seeking,smartphone dependence and self-delayed gratification ability of middle school students: there is a significant positive correlation between sensation seeking and smartphone dependence,a significant negative correlation between sensation seeking and self-delayed gratification ability,and a significant negative correlation between self-delayed gratification ability and smartphone dependence.(2)Self-delayed gratification acts as a risk buffer between sensation seeking and smartphone dependence Specifically,self-delayed gratification ability attenuates the positive predictive effect of sensation seeking on smartphones.(3)Group tutoring activities with self-delayed gratification ability as the theme can significantly improve the self-delayed gratification ability of middle school students and further reduce their smartphone dependence level.
