Research On The Relationship Between Sensation Seeking And Network Deviation Behavior Of Junior High School Students

Sensation seeking is a special personality trait,which can significantly predict risk-taking behavior and bad behavior.With the popularity of the Internet,the Internet has provided many conveniences to people’s lives,but it has also produced certain adverse effects.For example,the network deviant behavior has brought many hidden dangers to the healthy growth of minors.In previous studies,the formation and influencing factors of network deviant behavior are the key issues discussed by researchers at home and abroad.Studies have shown that in addition to internal factors such as individual personality,self-control,and morality,family rearing patterns also have an important impact on network deviant behavior.Based on the personal-scene interaction theory and the ecological system theory,combined with the previous findings,this study takes junior high school students as the research object,explores the relationship between sensation seeking and network deviant behavior,and examines the mediating role of self-control,and the moderating role of moral identity and parental control.The results show that:(1)There is a significant positive correlation between sensation seeking and network deviant behavior,and sensation seeking has a positive predictive effect on network deviant behavior;(2)There are significant differences in grade between sensation seeking and network deviation behavior,there are significant differences in gender between self-control and parental control,and there are also significant differences in sensation seeking of junior high school students in terms of parental education level;(3)There is a significant negative correlation between sensation seeking and self-control,and self-control plays a partial mediating role between sensation seeking and network deviation behavior;(4)Moral identity and self-control have significant predictive effects,but moral identity has no significant regulatory effect on feeling seeking and self-control;(5)There is a significant correlation between parental control and network deviation behavior.Among them,parental psychological control plays a moderating role in the second half of the intermediary path of "sensation seeking → self-control → Internet deviant behavior".Based on the above conclusions,this study puts forward the following practical enlightenment for the prevention of junior high school students’ network deviation behavior:(1)According to the current situation of the times,we should not only pay attention to the actual differences in various aspects of the consciousness and behavior development of male and female students,but also carry out reasonable prevention and correction according to the physical and mental differences between male and female while achieving equal treatment;(2)The correction of junior high school students’ network deviant behavior needs to comprehensively consider all aspects of internal and external factors and their influence.Only through the joint efforts of society,school,parents and students themselves can junior high school students’ network deviation behavior be guided and intervened more effectively.
