| Delayed gratification is one of the main forms of self-control and one of the core contents of children’s social development.Nowadays,it has become a new hotspot of psychological research and the main paradigm of self-control research.Delay strategy refers to a series of methods adopted consciously or unconsciously by children to resist temptation in order to prolong the waiting time in the delayed situation.Abroad in terms of the research status,start early and accumulated the rich research achievements,China is still at the initial stage,there are many areas remains to be further discussed,therefore,under different order and delayed gratification in boring and interesting situation strategy,the characteristics of the domestic infant education science and the improvement and perfection of has certain theoretical value and practical significance.This research mainly uses the method of experiment,by using the self delayed gratification paradigm,the delay strategy is divided into meaningless,seeking help,attention transfer strategy(short and long),avoidance strategy,speech control strategy(to himself),external language five,the experimental study on the 55 men’s and women’s half of the children,and supplemented by literature method,behavior observation and conversation method,under different order children in boring and interesting situations respectively their age,gender,number,and the delay time and delay of the tasks to be achieved and the connection between the delay strategy types used;To investigate the differences of children’s delay waiting time,delay task completion and delay strategy in boring and interesting situations.The results show that:(1)There are significant age differences in children’s ability to delay gratification.(2)The number of children has a significant impact on the completion of children’s delayed tasks.(3)Meaningless strategies have significant differences in age,situation and number of people.(4)There are significant differences in the number of help-seeking strategies.The number of help-seeking strategies used by children in individual situations is significantly higher than that in group situations.(5)There is a significant difference in the number of children using attention shifting strategy.The number of children using attention shifting strategy is significantly more than that using attention shifting strategy in group situation.(6)Avoidance strategies have significant differences in the number of people and age.(7)There are significant gender and number differences in speech control strategies.(8)As for the types of attention shifting strategies,both short-term attention shifting strategies and long-term attention shifting strategies have significant differences in age and number of people.(9)In terms of the types of verbal control strategies,the number of children has a very significant influence on children’s use of both self-talk and external verbal control strategies.(10)The children’s preferences for using delay strategies in different situational sequences were consistent across ages,genders,numbers and scenarios. |
