Since the Ministry of Education issued the Core Literacy of Chinese Students in2014,it has been proposed in the Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan and Curriculum Standards(2022 edition): "To further deepen reform,we will not only pay attention to inheriting China’s successful experience in curriculum construction,but also fully draw on the new achievements of international curriculum reform,update educational concepts,reflect Chinese characteristics,enhance curriculum comprehensiveness and practicality,guide the reform of education methods,and strive to develop students’ core qualities." At present,the hot topic of research on core literacy has been constantly renewed.In order to solve the common problem of "focusing on scores and ignoring quality education",to cope with the challenge of global economic and technological development requiring high quality of talents,and to implement the training goal of national core literacy,higher requirements have been put forward for curriculum and teaching reform centering on core literacy.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,it has become an inevitable trend to study the core quality of university cheerleading.As an important part of physical education and health curriculum,cheerleading teaching plays an active role in cultivating the core quality of college students in the new era.As the stepping stone of quality education,core accomplishment is the premise of the reform and progress of cheerleading curriculum in colleges and universities,and it is of great significance to promote the development of cheerleading in colleges and universities.The organization and implementation of cheerleading teaching in colleges and universities should fully consider the characteristics of core quality,so as to encourage students to explore in cheerleading course practice and constantly accept the edification of core quality.Cheerleading teaching plays an active role in cultivating college students’ core quality.Modern physical education teaching mode of small and medium group teaching mode is in the mainstay position,and its role in promoting students’ social adaptability is obvious to all.In recent years,the majority of researchers have never stopped studying its deep research.The Lala operation is an independent single item entering the Olympic Games in 2021,and has conquered the majority of college students with its team,fashion and vitality.It is of great significance to carry out the education idea of small-group teaching mode in the compulsory cheerleading course in colleges and universities,so as to optimize the traditional cheerleading teaching and highlight the students’ subjectivity and social adaptability.This study fully combines the relevant background at home and abroad,from the perspective of cultivating students’ core qualities,in-depth research on the small-group teaching mode of cheerleading courses,discussions and exchanges with relevant experts and scholars,and establishes five indicators including physical fitness,cheerleading skills,sports exercise habits,cooperation ability and sports morality.The methods of literature,teaching experiment,questionnaire survey,expert interview and mathematical statistics were adopted.Consult relevant literature such as "small group teaching Mode","Cheerleading" and "Core literacy" and collect relevant materials at home and abroad for reference,understand the domestic and foreign frontier trends and research progress in this subject field,sort out and summarize relevant information to ensure smooth progress of this subject research and complete reference materials;The teaching experiment method is adopted,and the teaching plan is designed scientifically and reasonably by listening to the tutor’s opinions before the experiment.The basic situation of students before the experiment is tested and compared one by one,so as to analyze whether it meets the experimental requirements and whether the experiment can be carried out.After the experiment,from the perspective of core literacy,distinguish two groups of different teaching modes,compare student data,objectively analyze the advantages of small-group teaching mode compared with traditional teaching mode,design questionnaires according to the experimental needs,listen to expert opinions for modification,collect data and integrate them,and draw the following conclusions: In the short term,the small-group teaching mode has no significant effect on the improvement of students’ physical quality compared with the traditional teaching mode.In the aspect of technical mastery of cheerleading,the small-group teaching mode is more significant than the traditional teaching mode.The small-group teaching mode has a certain promoting effect on improving students’ cooperation ability and exercise habit.At the same time,the small group teaching mode has a certain significance to the cultivation of students’ sports morality.The following suggestions are put forward:1.The small-group teaching mode is divided into groups according to the level of students.The grouping mode adopts intra-group heterogeneity,inter-group homogeneity,intra-group students learn from each other’s strengths and make full use of its advantages under certain conditions.In teaching practice,the traditional teaching mode can be rationally applied according to the teaching situation.Make the teaching content more rich,so that cheerleading teaching more scientific and standardized.2.In cheerleading teaching,it is necessary to choose whether to adopt the small-group teaching mode according to the actual conditions,such as the level of students and the teaching content.As a kind of cheerleading teaching mode,small-group teaching mode is not suitable for all teaching situations,and cheerleading teachers should strengthen the attempt of relevant teaching mode and adopt flexible teaching methods according to the actual teaching situation.3.Core literacy is the "guiding light" of cheerleading teaching,and the adoption of small group teaching mode in cheerleading teaching is the path to achieve the cultivation of core literacy.The integration of the two can improve the quality of cheerleading teaching and promote the scientific development of cheerleading teaching in the process of specific cheerleading teaching activities.
