| Under the wave of economic globalization,today’s youth group is in the background of interweaving multiple cultures,and with the rapid development of the Internet,the living environment is filled with a large amount of cultural information,which brings excellent cultural achievements but also intermingles with undesirable cultures.Young people are the future of the country and the hope of the nation,but due to their unfinished physical and mental development,they are susceptible to external influences when facing various cultural views,and their attitudes and positions towards Chinese and foreign cultures are ambiguous and wavering.Considering the fact that students in junior high school have a significantly stronger sense of autonomy and are actively constructing their outlook on life,worldview and values,it is crucial to cultivate cultural confidence and help junior high school students buckle the first button of their lives.At the same time,the middle school Morality and Law curriculum conveys the message of cultivating cultural self-confidence,and the content of the six textbooks at the middle school level itself focuses on the education of core socialist values,inheriting the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and revolutionary culture throughout.Cultivating cultural self-confidence in teaching is in line with the overall expectation of educational development,fits the overall nurturing goal of the Morality and Law curriculum,and is a reflection of the will to implement the teaching materials.This paper first analyzes the connotation of cultural self-confidence at the theoretical level,identifies the opinions of different scholars on the connotation of cultural selfconfidence through literature research method,forms the basic direction of this paper on the study of cultural self-confidence,and lays the theoretical foundation for the subsequent research.At the practical level,we start from the teaching needs of the junior high school Morality and Law curriculum,analyze the teaching contents with the six textbooks,form a double clue of "theory" and "text",and provide a basis for problem analysis and strategy construction.Then,we discuss the characteristics of cultivating students’ cultural selfconfidence in the teaching of Morality and the Rule of Law in junior high school from the connotation level,curriculum level,textbook level,and teaching level respectively,while the significance part is discussed from four perspectives: educational philosophy,curriculum will,cultural core,and students’ development.Chapter 2 adopts the case study method and survey research method in order to understand the current situation of cultivating cultural self-confidence in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law course in junior high school.Through analyzing teaching cases,conducting questionnaires and teacher interviews,we understand the actual situation of cultivating cultural self-confidence in the middle school "Ethics and the Rule of Law" course from the student and teacher dimensions.The results are analyzed against the concepts advocated by the curriculum standards,the teaching highlights of which are compiled,the deficiencies are identified and the causes are analyzed.Based on the investigation and analysis,Chapter 3 proposes possible insights and strategies from different levels of education and teaching based on the shortcomings in cultivating cultural self-confidence in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school,in order to empower the efficient cultivation of cultural self-confidence in the teaching of Morality and Rule of Law in junior high school and promote the implementation of the fundamental task of establishing moral education. |
