Move Towards Resistance To Japan-A Study On The Change Of The Content Of The News Of Studying In Japan

Student newspapers and magazines in Japan serve as a link for communication among student groups studying in Japan.As the first publication established by progressive students studying in Japan to specifically serve the group of students studying in Japan,the "News of Studying in Japan" held an important position in the Chinese student community and had a certain impact on politics and society at that time.From this perspective,the research significance of the newspaper is quite significant,but currently,there is little research on the content of "News of Studying in Japan" in the academic community,and there has been no research on its content.Based on this,this paper takes the period from 1935 to 1937 as the main period for research and takes the transformation of the report content of the newspaper during the period before and after the North China Incident as the starting point.By sorting out the early propaganda overview of the newspaper,as well as the relevant manifestations of the anti-Japanese tendency in the report,it attempts to describe the trajectory of the content transformation of the newspaper.And on this basis,explore the underlying reasons for the transformation of the content of the "News of Studying in Japan".In October 1935,the "News of Studying in Japan" was jointly founded by Japanese students Fu Xiangmo,Zhang Jiandong,and Jian Tailiang in Tokyo,Japan.At the beginning of its establishment,the newspaper was launched in the guise of a student newspaper,and its mission was to "introduce Chinese and Japanese culture with an objective attitude,promote cooperation,increase research interest,and promote academic spirit",demonstrating the nature of pure student journalism.After the September 18th Incident in Japan,there was a powerful wave of resistance against Japan and national salvation in the academic community studying in Japan.As the Japanese invading army intensified its encroachment on the North China region,the entire Chinese nation was in danger.It is in this context that the "News of Studying in East" gradually revealed its anti-Japanese color and possessed the nature of current affairs and political news,starting from its original purely student news nature.During this period,the progressive students of the Liudong News Agency displayed anti-Japanese colors in the process of newspaper management and reporting,and secretly engaged in the anti-Japanese and national salvation movement through layout and discourse presentation.On February 26,1936,a failed mutiny called the "2.26 Incident" broke out in Tokyo,Japan.This incident has completely changed Japan’s national destiny,forming a strategic pattern with Japan’s fascism,which advocates an overall invasion of China,as the core and politics,economy and diplomacy as the content.The group of international students in Japan keenly sensed this dangerous signal,and the "News of Studying in Japan" was also aware of establishing its own anti-Japanese appearance and actively taking on the important responsibility of awakening and mobilizing the study abroad academic community to participate in the Anti-Japanese War.During this period,the content of the "News of Studying in Japan" shifted from focusing on the domestic student movement,opposing the right-wing views,to further in-depth follow-up reporting on Japanese social trends,policy adjustments to China,and the progressive thinking of left-wing people,showing the core position of resisting Japan and saving the country.
