Criticism can point out children’s mistakes and shortcomings,so that children can realize their mistakes and correct them in time,and promote children’s physical and mental development.The "Professional Standards for Kindergarten Teachers"(trial)puts forward the most basic requirements for teachers’ professional ethics,that is,kindergarten teachers should care for,respect,trust and attach importance to children in their attitudes and behaviors towards children.As a common means of education and teaching,in the implementation process,teachers should abide by the professional ethics of teachers,regulate their own behavior,and not abuse the rights of teachers.Educational criticism can not only help children correct their current shortcomings or mistakes,but also lay the foundation for their long-term development.In practice,it is found that the ethical issues in teachers’ criticism are often ignored,which brings harm to children and affects their physical and mental health development.Therefore,it is very valuable to study whether kindergarten teachers’ criticism is ethical.Most of the existing studies focus on the status quo,suggestions and art of teacher criticism,while few examine kindergarten teacher criticism from the perspective of ethics.This study examines kindergarten teachers’ criticism from the perspective of teachers’ professional ethics,explores the ethical problems and causes in kindergarten teachers’ criticism,and puts forward corresponding suggestions,which will help kindergarten teachers understand the ethical problems contained in criticism,improve their reflective and practical ability of criticism,and improve their professional ability.This study uses questionnaire survey,observation and interview methods to explore the problem.First,the Questionnaire Survey on the Current Situation of Kindergarten Teachers’ Criticism was sent to the front-line teachers of H and L kindergartens,two second-level public kindergartens in H City,to investigate the current status of teachers’ cognition of the ethical concepts contained in criticism.Secondly,in order to observe and record the problems in teachers’ criticism,this paper adopts non-participatory tracking and recording of teachers’ criticism,and adopts the self-compiled "Kindergarten Teacher Criticism Ethics Observation Table" to observe and record the criticism of 12 teachers in H and L kindergartens for 2 weeks respectively.Through investigation,a total of 582 cases have been collected.Finally,8 teachers of different grades are interviewed to explore and understand the reasons why kindergarten teachers have ethical problems when they criticize.The results show that kindergarten teachers have a high cognitive level of critical ethics,but their practical ability needs to be strengthened.There are ethical problems in kindergarten teachers’ criticism practice;Kindergarten teachers criticize the differences in the ethical dimensions of kindergarten,class and situation.Kindergarten teachers’ criticism is influenced by many aspects of kindergarten,teachers and society.The further analysis shows that the criticism in line with teachers’ professional ethics is more likely to be reflected in the aspects of caring for and caring for children,respecting children’s views and opinions,and treating different situations differently;Teachers’ cognition and behavior of criticism are disjointed;Teachers criticize the lack of care for children and neglect the physical and mental health of children;Teachers criticize the lack of respect and the lack of children’s subject status;The impartiality in teacher criticism is unbalanced,and the teacher-child interaction is different.The teacher’s criticism lacks the development and the direction is not clear.In view of the problems and causes,this paper emphasizes the value of professional ethics and cultivates ethical teachers;Pay attention to theory and practice,practice ethical values;Change the concept of critical education and reduce the pressure on teachers;In order to prevent and solve the ethical problems in teachers’ criticism,suggestions are put forward in four aspects: strengthening social publicity and science popularization and improving social tolerance.The suggestions are as follows: improve the professional ethics of teachers and cultivate ethical teachers;Improve the ability of practical reflection;Improve the professional ethics system of kindergarten teachers;Set up the child-oriented educational view,correctly understand the criticism;Improve teachers’ criticism skills and help the ethical implementation of criticism;Pay attention to teachers’ mental health,reduce teachers’ burden of non-teaching work;Reasonable treatment of teachers’ job burnout,awakening the inner sense of professional belief;Strengthen homeland cooperation and enhance the efficiency of homeland interaction;Create a correct cognitive atmosphere to help people correctly understand criticism.
