| The increasingly vigorous development of the tourism industry and the constantly changing demand for tourists have put forward higher requirements for tourism practitioners,and the quality of tourism students will greatly affect the development of the future tourism industry.The concept of deep learning emphasizes the ability to solve problems with advanced thinking,which is precisely the requirement of society for students majoring in tourism in secondary vocational schools.The 5E teaching mode,with engagement,exploration,explanation,elaboration and evaluation as the basic links,pays attention to the main position of students in each link,corresponding to the development of various core qualities of students,which is highly consistent with the concept of deep learning,and is an effective way to promote students’ deep learning.This research focuses on exploring the impact of applying the 5E teaching mode to the deep learning of vocational school tourism students.First of all,through the literature research method,this paper combs the relevant literature of in-depth learning and 5E teaching mode,defines the concepts of in-depth learning and 5E teaching mode,summarizes the characteristics of in-depth learning and 5E teaching mode,discusses the theoretical basis and general process of in-depth learning and 5E teaching mode,and analyzes the internal relationship between them from the theoretical level.This study focuses on exploring the impact of the application of the 5E teaching mode on the deep learning level of secondary vocational tourism students.First of all,through literature combing,combined with the current research at home and abroad,the connotation,characteristics and related theoretical foundations of the 5E teaching mode and deep learning are explained.Secondly,on the basis of investigating the current situation of deep learning of secondary vocational tourism students,it pointed out that it is feasible to apply the 5E teaching mode to secondary vocational tourism classes to promote students’ deep learning.Subsequently,on the basis of expounding the specific strategies of the 5E teaching mode applied to the teaching of secondary vocational tourism to promote students’ deep learning,combined with the "Guided Tour Practice" course,a three-month teaching experiment was carried out,and finally the effect of the 5E teaching mode in promoting deep learning of secondary vocational tourism students was analyzed through questionnaires,performance measurements and student interviews.Through practical research,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The application of the 5E teaching mode to the secondary vocational tourism classes can improve the students’ deep learning.By comparing the deep learning measured before and after the experimental class and the control class,the students have significantly improved in the construction of knowledge,the integration of knowledge,the application and transfer of knowledge,learning input,communication and cooperation,and critical thinking,but the improvement effect on learning motivation and innovative thinking is not significant enough.(2)Through the comparison of the scores of the experimental class and the control class,it is found that the 5E teaching mode can indeed greatly improve the performance of secondary vocational tourism students.(3)Through interviews towards students,it can be known that students have a positive attitude towards this teaching model.Overall,the 5E teaching mode can promote deep learning of secondary vocational tourism students. |
