In basketball,the relationship between coaches and players is an important factor that affects sports performance.In daily training competitions,athletes need to face many difficulties and challenges in order to achieve good results and win.Coaches are an integral part of this process,and good relationships and decision-making can lead to improved performance.If the team members lack trust in the coach,they will be resistant to the coach’s decision,which is not conducive to the improvement of athletes’ performance in competition or training,resulting in sports burnout.Therefore,through the research focus of the relationship between athletes and coaches in competitive sports,this study discusses the research mechanism of high-level basketball players’ satisfaction in training competitions,and focuses on the mediating role of athletes’ satisfaction in training competitions in this model.In this study,196(male 63.2%,female 36.8%)high-level college basketball players were investigated from the perspective of athletes.Through the analysis of the survey data,the data results show that the coach-athlete relationship is significantly positively correlated with the satisfaction of high-level basketball training competitions in colleges and universities,and the coach-athlete relationship has a significant predictive effect on the satisfaction of high-level basketball training competitions in colleges and universities.The satisfaction of athletes in competition training plays a sequential mediating role in the relationship between coaches and athletes and high burnout.And came to the following conclusions:(1)There is a significant negative correlation between sports burnout and the coach-athlete relationship.Therefore,in order to reduce the sports burnout of high-level basketball players in colleges and universities,coaches should communicate more with athletes and try to avoid the negative state of players.(2)Athletes’ satisfaction in competition training plays a sequential mediating role in the relationship between coaches and athletes and sports burnout.Therefore,improving athletes’ satisfaction in training competition is also an important way to alleviate or restrain sports burnout.This requires coaches to make reasonable plans in daily training and competition,so as to improve athletes’ satisfaction in training and competition so as to reduce the occurrence of athletes’ burnout.(3)For athletes,they should have a reasonable understanding of their own competitive level,develop suitable long-term and short-term goals,and constantly improve their competitive ability and level,which can effectively alleviate or inhibit the emergence of sports burnout. |
