| Since its establishment in 1998,China University Basketball League(hereinafter referred to as "CUBA")has gone through more than 20 years. As an important stage of campus physical education,CUBA is committed to incubating and cultivating a new generation of excellent basketball players and promoting the popularization and development of Chinese basketball in the campus. Its influence, appeal, market prospect and brand value are constantly sublimated in the baptism of years. As we all know,high-level basketball players in Colleges and universities are the main force of CUBA.Colleges and universities in China have become the cradle of the cultivation of excellent sports talents.Excellent athletes from colleges and universities emerge in endlessly, and higher physical education has entered a period of popular development.Although the number and scale are gradually expanding, there are also many unavoidable problems with the rapid development. There is no doubt that coaches and high-level athletes are two important components of high-level sports teams. As the backbone of the team, coaches are the direct manager of training and competition, and also the main person in charge of the daily operation of the sports team. The leadership behavior of coaches not only affects the training effect and competition performance of athletes, but also relates to whether the psychological state of athletes is healthy under the pressure of high-intensity study and competition Whether self cognition is accurate.Based on the significant influence of coaches’ democratic behavior on the self-identity of high-level basketball players, this paper systematically combs the literature on Coaches’ democratic behavior, athletes’ self-identity,team cohesion and understanding social support. It is found that relevant studies show that coaches’ Democratic leadership behavior is conducive to enhancing team cohesion,Team cohesion has a positive impact on Athletes’ self-identity,and the understanding of social support has a certain positive effect on individual behavior and their own more and more changes. The higher the level of individual understanding of social support, the healthier their psychological state.Based on this, according to the logical method of "input process output",this research constructs the research framework according to the theoretical model of "democratic behavior of coaches(I)-team cohesion, understanding social support(P)-athlete self-identity(o)",and takes high-level college basketball players as the research object,Then, collect and sort out the data through interviews, questionnaires and mathematical statistics to verify the research hypothesis proposed in this paper. In order to explore the role of team cohesion and perceived social support in the influence mechanism of coaches’ democratic behavior on Athletes’ self-identity.The specific conclusions are as follows:1.From the perspective of demographic variables, coaches’ democratic behavior has obvious differences in athletes’ gender and grade;Athletes’ self-identity has obvious differences in athletes’ position and gender on the field; There are obvious differences in team cohesion in the comparison of athletes’ grade and gender;Perceived social support has significant differences in athletes’ place of origin and gender.2.From the relationship among the four variables of coaches’ democratic behavior, team cohesion, perceived social support and athletes’ self-identity,coaches’ democratic behavior can not directly and positively predict athletes’ self-identity;Coaches’ democratic behavior can positively predict team cohesion;Team cohesion can positively predict athletes’ self-identity;Team cohesion plays a complete intermediary role in the relationship between coaches’ democratic behavior and athletes’ self-identity;Understanding social support plays a regulatory role in the direct effect of coaches’ democratic behavior on Athletes’ self-identity.3.Based on the theoretical basis of I-P-O model, there is an input process output relationship between the four variables of coaches’ democratic behavior, team cohesion, perceived social support and athletes’ self-identity. |
