| Research objectives: The concept of functional training emphasizes the comprehensive development of strength in all links of the human dynamic chain,so that they can be coordinated and smoothly connected to form a complete power channel, reduce energy loss in transmission, improve the use efficiency of body strength, and thus achieve the purpose of improving athletic performance. At present, many students in colleges and universities are more inclined to use traditional fitness training methods and means to exercise. In the exercise, excessive emphasis is placed on the repetition of a single movement to improve the physical quality, resulting in certain limitations in the effect of exercise. This study tries to integrate functional training into instrument fitness training, further enriching training content and training methods,so as to achieve the purpose of improving the training effect of students.Research methods: This paper mainly uses literature, interview, mathematical statistics and experimental methods to carry out research, the 24 volunteers who are selected and meet the conditions are randomly divided into experimental group and control group, each group of 12 people, the experimental group in the conventional equipment fitness training to add functional training content, while the control group only conventional equipment fitness training content. After 12 weeks of training, the physical fitness index scores and FMS functional action screening scores of the two groups of students were recorded.Paired sample T test was conducted for intra-group data, and independent sample T test was conducted for inter-group data, and the P-value of significant difference and the index scores of each group were analyzed.Research results:(1)The experimental group used functional training as an intervention means, after 12 weeks of experiment, the improvement of strength quality, flexibility quality, endurance quality and agility quality was particularly obvious, showing a very significant difference(p < 0.01),speed quality showed a significant difference(p < 0.05).(2)In terms of functional action pattern screening, there were significant differences(p < 0.05)in the stability assessment of over top squat,up step, straight leg active lift and trunk rotation in the experimental group, and the total score increased significantly(p < 0.01).There were no significant differences in shoulder joint flexibility, linear lunge and trunk stability push-up(p > 0.05).(3)After 12 weeks of routine training, the strength quality and endurance quality of the control group were significantly improved(p < 0.05),while the speed quality, flexibility quality and agility quality were not significantly different(p > 0.05).(4)In terms of functional action pattern screening, although the results of 7functional screening test indicators in the control group were slightly improved, the improvement was not obvious, showing no significant difference(p > 0.05),and the total score showed significant difference(p < 0.05).Research conclusion:(1)Through the comparative analysis of the results of the experimental group,it is found that integrating functional training into the special training of instrument fitness can effectively and comprehensively improve the physical quality of students, especially in the improvement of strength, agility, endurance and flexibility.(2)Functional training can effectively improve students’ physical flexibility and stability, improve students’ incorrect movement patterns, and reduce the risk of injury during exercise.(3)The system of functional training is relatively complete, and the training means and methods are abundant.Functional action pattern screening can intuitively identify the weak links of students’ bodies, which can provide reliable basis for guiding training.(4)Only entering a single instrument fitness training, the improvement of the speed, flexibility and agility of the students is limited, and the training effect has certain limitations. |
