Research purpose: With the continuous advancement of physical education,young people’s physical performance is more and more valued,but the physical fitness of young people has been decreasing year by year.School physical education teachers are constantly introducing and using new training methods to change this situation.Improve adolescents’ physical fitness.In recent years,functional training has been praised by a large number of scholars and coaches,and has been applied to physical training by various sports teams,and has achieved good training results.Functional training was applied to the daily teaching and training of adolescents.Combined with the theory of functional training and the actual situation of adolescents,functional training interventions were conducted on experimental subjects to explore the feasibility of functional training implementation.According to the results of the experiment,the influence of functional training on the development of adolescents’ quality is explored.Research methods: This article uses the methods of literature,expert interviews,experiments,and mathematical statistics to study the impact of functional training on the development of adolescents’ physical fitness.Research results:(1)There was no difference in the physical test results between the two groups of students before the experiment,and the overall level of the students’ physical fitness was poor.After 10 weeks of training,the students in the experimental group and the control group had improved their performances,indicating two training methods To improve students’ physical fitness.Boys in the experimental group showed significant differences in forward flexion and standing long jump compared with those in the control group.Girls in the experimental group had significant differences in sit-ups and forward flexion in one minute compared with those in the control group.The students in the control group improved significantly.(2)There was no difference in the results of functional movement screening between the two groups of students before the experiment.The overall scores of the students were low,there was motion compensation,and it was easy to cause sports injuries due to the action mode.After 10 weeks of training,both the experimental group and the control group improved their functional screening results.There were no significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the squat and trunk stable push-ups.There were significant differences in the results of the two groups in stride,straight lunge,shoulder flexibility,and rotation stability.Research conclusions:(1)Functional training can effectively improve adolescents’ speed,strength,flexibility and sensitivity.(2)Functional training greatly improves the steps of stride,straight lunge,shoulder flexibility,and rotation stability.(3)Functional training is a scientific and effective training mode,which can improve students’ athletic ability,enhance their enthusiasm for training,develop their overall balance and stability,and effectively improve their physical fitness.
