In recent years,the development of vocational education has received widespread attention as the demand for complex skilled personnel has increased.In response to the needs of the times,the state has introduced a series of policies related to vocational education to vigorously promote the reform of vocational education,and the development of vocational education has ushered in a high-speed period.Secondary vocational education is an important foundation of the modern vocational system,providing quality students for higher vocational institutions on the one hand and high-quality skilled talents for society on the other.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the deepening reform of secondary vocational education and improve the quality of talent cultivation.PBL(Problem-based Learning)is a kind of problem-oriented teaching mode,which has been extended from the medical field to other fields and has achieved good teaching results.The educational concept of "problem-based and student-centred" advocated by PBL is in line with the curriculum standard of Introduction to Tourism in secondary school.Therefore,this study is an attempt to apply the PBL teaching mode to the course of Introduction to Tourism in secondary school,which is of great significance.Guided by the theories of constructivism,situated learning,cooperative learning and discovery learning,this study draws on literature analysis,questionnaires,interviews and educational research to develop research from both theoretical and practical perspectives.Firstly,the research ideas of this paper are clarified on the basis of combing and summarising the research results at home and abroad.Secondly,through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,we understand the current status of the curriculum of Introduction to Tourism in secondary schools and analyse and summarise the current problems.Thirdly,on the basis of the current situation of the Introduction to Tourism course and students’ learning conditions,a teaching model applicable to the Introduction to Tourism course in secondary education is designed based on the teaching principles of situationality,comprehensive and systematic principles and openness and inspiration,in terms of pre-teaching analysis,teaching process and educational evaluation.Finally,a specific practical case of Introduction to Tourism is selected and a control class and an experimental class are set up to carry out the educational experimental study.After the practice,the application effect of the PBL teaching mode is analysed by distributing performance test papers,teaching effect questionnaires and combining the results of teacher interviews.This study found that the PBL teaching mode is practical and feasible to be applied to the secondary level Introduction to Tourism course,and there is a proven implementation path for the PBL teaching mode in the secondary level Introduction to Tourism course,and the five aspects of students’ learning performance,learning interest,their own ability,willingness to learn behaviour and course satisfaction have all been improved under this teaching mode,therefore,the PBL teaching mode has obvious advantages over the traditional Therefore,the PBL teaching model has obvious superiority over the traditional teaching model.In addition,there are problems in this study,such as teachers’ comprehensive quality needs to be improved,students’ participation is low and the length of teaching is difficult to grasp,and the following suggestions are made accordingly: strengthen teachers’ training and improve teachers’ comprehensive quality;establish a point system and improve classroom participation;and combine the PBL teaching mode with the traditional teaching mode. |
