With the continuous progress of urbanization,the rural population is becoming more and more polarized,and the problem of rural hollowing is prominent.The absence of parents at the critical stage of children’s development at the early school age and the low participation of community and school in children’s self-supporting behavior are not conducive to the development of children’s self-supporting behavior.The problem of children’s independence is related to the healthy growth of children,and has an important impact on the cognitive ability and adaptive ability of children after entering the society.The problem of children’s self-reliance is not only related to individual development and family harmony,but also the urgent need to build a harmonious society.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to conduct social intervention and intervention analysis around this problem.Taking Y Community in Suizhou City as an example,from the perspective of social work,using drama therapy and combining quantitative and qualitative methods,this study evaluated the self-supporting behavioral ability of 103 second-grade children in Y community in Suizhou city through the self-reliance scale,including the dimensions of self-decision function,self-action function and self-responsibility function.According to the statistical results,the researchers preliminarily targeted 45 children who scored less than 60 points in the questionnaire survey as the assessment and analysis objects of this study.After the researcher’s observation and interviews with teachers and parents,a typical case was selected for specific study,aiming at improving his daily self-reliance behavior ability.According to the scores of the three dimensions of the daily self-supporting behavioral ability of the service objects,combined with the results of interviews and field observation,the researchers evaluated the daily self-supporting behavioral ability of the service objects,and found that they had problems such as lack of self-action ability,lack of personal management ability,low self-initiative awareness,impolite and so on.The application of drama therapy in this study is to enable the service objects to examine themselves and integrate into life through the technology of drama,so as to improve their daily independent behavior ability in the interaction between people.Based on this,the researchers determined the drama program design of social work to improve the clients’ daily independent behavior ability according to the six stages of drama therapy: body warming,focusing,role playing,closing,role removal and dramatic ceremony.Through nine group activities,the technique of drama therapy was used to help the client improve the skills of drama playing,and the role playing and perception sharing were guided.In the process of teaching from the perspective of parents,the client could improve the movement proficiency of washing face and putting on clothes,improve his self-decision ability and personal belongings management ability.Gradually shift from mimicking daily self-supporting behaviors to actively engaging in daily self-supporting behaviors.According to the quantitative and qualitative evaluation results,the score of the client scale improved significantly,the attitude towards life was more positive,the relationship with family was more harmonious,and the natural good habits were gradually formed.It is concluded that drama therapy plays a significant role in improving the independent behavior ability of early school-age children.Finally,based on the practical analysis of drama therapy in the early school age children’s daily self-reliance behavior ability improvement,the researchers also reflected on the shortcomings of this service and summarized,and put forward relevant suggestions.To improve the daily self-supporting behavior ability of early school-age children,it is necessary for all sectors of society to make joint efforts,strengthen the attention and support of children’s self-supporting ability and drama therapy,strengthen the construction of social work professionals,combine practice and theory,break the dilemma of drama therapy localization,and hope to promote the practical application of drama therapy in social work.
